Dr. Peters is a board~certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years experience. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and serves as a regional representative for its State Affairs division. He also serves on the Executive Committee for the Nebraska Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and is an adjunct clinical professor for the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and a cornea fellowship at the University of Florida. Dr. Peters specializes in cornea transplantation, corneal infectious disease and trauma, LASIK and no~stitch cataract surgery. He also provides care for glaucoma and diabetes, and performs routine examinations.Dr. Maw received his undergraduate and M.D. degrees from the University of Iowa. He did his residency-training in Ophthalmology at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary in Manhattan. He did his fellowship-training at Harvard Medical School in anterior-segment eye surgery. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and he has over 20 years of experience. Dr. Maw treats patients with macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, retinal vein occlusions, cataracts and LASIK. He has performed over 16,000 eye surgeries and over 9,000 intravitreal injections.
