If I could give them zero stars, I would. I lived at one of their properties for a year, and I was shocked by the lack of professionalism, the lack of effort, and the lack of care displayed by the Landmark Group. I knew within a month of moving in that I would not be renewing my lease. Upon moving in, the duplex was filthy and I discovered multiple things that needed to be fixed. I had to contact my property manager multiple times to get these things fixed and even then, it took about a month before a maintenance guy was sent out. He made a big hole in our living room ceiling while fixing some plumbing issues, and he said he would come back to cover it up. This hole remained open for about two months. I'm pretty sure it never would have been closed if I hadn't called my property manager repeatedly. By the way, I never even met my property manager and rarely was able to speak with him, and I was never given a date or time for when maintenance would be entering my home.



Our property manager never answered his phone and would not return calls. The Landmark Group also does not have office hours, so there literally is a complete absence of communication and customer service. Things continued to break down and I continued to leave messages on my property manager's answering machine. Most issues were never fixed. There were serious rain leakage issues with the windows and ceilings upstairs and downstairs. I left messages about these problems and they were never fixed, even though our property manager knew black mold had formed and the ceilings were crumbling down. Shortly before I moved out, I received a letter from the Landmark Group informing me that the already high rent would be raised by $200/month with the renewal of my lease. That money obviously was not needed to maintain the property on their part, since they displayed zero intention of making their property livable.



Terrible product, terrible service, terrible company. Beware!
