As a child I remember Cookies & Kool-Aid and wondering why VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL wasn't for the whole summer. Chuck & Karen McKeag made it FUN, unlike other churches where it doesn't seem enjoyable to hear "The Word of the LORD."



Now, many years later my youngest daughter is a Sparks in the Awana. They meet every Wednesday night from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. It is so refreshing to hear her tell EVERYONE that on Wednesdays she gets to go to 2 schools. Then from the time I pick her up after school until 6:15 pm all I hear is "How much longer until we leave for Awanas. Is it time yet?"



The church is beautiful & the members are also. I have never felt pressured to do anything for the church to benefit from the church. They appreciate anything you give to them or help them with very much.



I am not an early bird, so Sunday Morning Services & Sunday School is not my thing. I would suggest that they might have a Saturday Night Service with Kids Saturday School for an option. I would seriously think about driving elders & others who have no transportation, to Saturday Night Services (and Grocery Shopping after Service) for those who are in need. My husband & I had the ability of doing that for my mother & 2 of her friends, until the passing of 2 out of 3 of them just this year.
