I wish I knew about Hyvees Quick Care sooner! I am wary about writing a review cuz when I went there was no line, it was so fast & if I tell everyone about how amazing they are then everyone will go & maybe that will cause there to be a line. When I went it was pretty early, 7:30ish, a regular doctors office would not have been open yet, they are also open during weekends & evening, also times a regular doctors office isnt open My family and I had a really bad cold and because there were no openings for an appointment with our regular doctor we actually went to the ER for a cold/ear infection, IF WE HAD KNOWN ABOUT HYVEE QUICK CARE WE WOULD HAVE GONE THERE INSTEAD! We sat at the ER for 3 hours and soon left after we got no service. BUT HYVEE WAS DIFFERENT! Hyvee was fast! I went in the store & left in like 15 minuets after getting an examination, a prescription made, and then filled! 15 minuets! With no appointment! 15 minuets! No waiting! I have always thought the worst thing about the doctors & taking your kids there was waiting, if your kids are sick you dont want to take them all the way to the doctor after waiting for the appointment time to arrive, wait in the waiting room, wait in the examination room, wait for her to write a prescription, drive to a pharmacy, wait at the pharmacy.... very tiring even if you werent sick. HYVEE WAS SOOO FAST! I want everyone to know about them, it looks like their quick clinics are in almost every HyVee & some of them have a type of driving thing, I'm not sure what that is. The Doctor & pharmacists were very nice, in my opinion its way cheaper then a regular doctor and extremely cheaper then an ER visit, thanks to their hours you can go there instead of the ER because your doctors office closes at 5 and is not open on the weekends, Hyvee quick care is open 7am-7pm & weekends! They don't treat extreme cases but their website tells you what they will look at & prices if you dont have insurance, and they can make prescriptions.
