If I need a birthday cake this is where I go.

I asked a few questions about baked goods. but unfortunately, none of the people selling it knew anything about the products they were selling. No manager, apparently on duty, to answer my questions, and they suggested to me to come back, at four in the morning to talk to one of the bakers, he he. Since I knew what kind of dogh product I was looking for, (despite employees), I went with the apple turnover. Apricot glaze is used for keeping ability, as well as eye appeal, unfortunately it was gooped on the pastry and very unevenly. It was a little too light in color, but I let it slide. But once I bit into it, I realized... out of the thousand layers the pastry was supposed to have, it had three, and the rest was dough, unless you want to get sick, by eating dough with egg in it, I suggest another product, but maybe i'm wrong, maybe they have made the proper adjustements since december. I had no problem with the way I was treated, everyone was very friendly, and it's a very comfortable atmosphere, I just wish I could have paid for a properly baked pastry, and wish the people selling the products, had more knowledge of the products, they are selling.

The bakery is outstanding and beautifully show cased. Although I feel the prices are really high for the sandwich you are getting. I paid 8 and some change for half a sandwich and small drink. Although it was very good, great place to have a small lunch meeting or catch up with an old friend. Not a good place to go if you are on a diet!! The pasteries are too tempting.. :)

The donuts, muffins, etc. are just the best. They make pretty good coffee, too. If you're in Olympia, you should definitely try it. I haven't had any of their lunches, but the place is always packed, so I would imagine they're not bad.

Wagner's has the most delicious treats from cookies to their pies. They also serve great lattes and have sandwiches for breakfast and lunch.
