Went 4 follow up bc I was worse than I was 4 days ago. felt terrible & just wanted the meds I needed 2 get better & sleep.

Dr finally saw me - asked what I was currently on- it's in my chart. She said I don't believe in cough meds/suppressant. I said well I was given enough for 2 nights & I haven't slept in past 2 bc I have been up all night coughing. exhausted. told what I normally get when sick w/ bronchitis & she said no. I said wait ur going 2 refuse 2 give me cough meds w/ codeine? She said yes I don't think it works & it's terribl. I said but it's only thing that helps me. She said not this time & I said no need 2 go further bc I'm leaving. She told me that's fine bc I'm only looking for drugs. R U FRIKKIN KIDDING ME? I'M SICK AS A DOG W/ BRONCHITIS. IT'S PRETTY OBVI & I'M COUGHING UP MY LUNGS.

I told her 2 shove it/a dumb B & left. went 2 Montgomery General & given correct meds.

Thought drs took hippocratic oath 2 help ppl not accuse them of being druggies when sick!
