In April 2003, TVH Forklift Parts of Gullegem, Belgium, acquired SMH. TVH, which was founded in 1969, has 31 subsidiaries, sales offices and partners in 22 countries. TVH boasts 320,000 stocking numbers and more than 9 million part numbers, and the company employs more than 850 people. Combined, SMH and TVH offer more than 400,000 stocking numbers and 9 million part numbers for over 90 different brands of world and U.S. manufactured industrial vehicles. The two companies fill more than 3,500 daily shipments to 15,000 customers. Together, SMH and TVH employ more than 1,300 people.
