I was very disappointed after visiting Children's Orchard. I live about 45min. away from the location but decided to go because their website said they pay upfront and top dollar for clothing. I take very very good care of my girls clothing and always make sure their appearance is always up to par. Well to make a loooong story short, I took my children's gently used items in to resale, about 30-40 items and they only selected 6 outfits (halloween costume, jacket, some two-piece playing outfits and a more than beautiful Christmas outfit w/ sweater and fur trim.)For all that, I got $9.00. I battled in my mind if I should take my clothes back (the ones selected)or just walk away and write it to memory. So, I just walked away with the 9 bucks and will be sure to tell everybody not to do cosignment there. It is much better to go to your local children's consignment shop and wait to collect the cash at the end of that particular season.
