J. Bridger Cox, M.D. joined Neuroscience Specialists in 2014. He completed his residency training in neurological surgery at the University of Florida. His clinical interests are in complex spinal surgery and minimally invasive treatments. Outside of the operating room, Dr. Cox has an interest in socioeconomic and quality issues within neurosurgery. During his residency, Dr. Cox completed a complex spine fellowship under Dr. Patrick Jacob and Dr. Daniel Hoh. He has been active in research and was awarded the 2012 Mayfield Clinical Science award by the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Spine. Dr. Cox is a member of AOSpine, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and the North American Spine Society.
