Harbor Freight is the ideal place to pick up that tool you can't find and need now or for finding the item you didn't know you needed when you started the job. There are a lot of inexpensive tool to be had there and its true that you get what you pay for but recently Harbor Freight has been bringing in a bigger selection of better quality tools. Tools that can compete with the ones you would find in a home improvement store. So I say good job Harbor Freight, keep up the good work.

this store has come a long way in recent years. change in management has led into an improvement in customer service. most of the staff is friendly and somewhat knowledgeable on the products and if they are not sure they will get a co worker that is. Unfortunately they still don't carry alot of accessories for most tools like anything extra for a pressure washer besides the tips. return process is pretty easy as long as you have your receipt otherwise can be a hassle

I am a contractor...

I have bought items/tools there before, only to find that they did not work.

They would have a certain tool and not carry the attachments that are needed to use the tool properly. (Makes no sense)

The staff there do not seem to have much knowledge of the actual products that they are selling. Just punching the time-clock, it seems



There phone service is also horrible...

They will answer the main phone but if you are needing specific help, for a tool, in a

certain department, they seem to leave you on hold for 15 minutes or longer, until you just hang up...

... Maybe, that is their way of getting you in the store, in person, so they can sell you a product, once you are there...



Very frustrating for a man who is trying to run a business and needs to see if they carry a particular product/s.



I use Steve's wholesale tools instead.

Tools, gadgets, & all-around handy things! I look around for things to use for crafts while my husband finds tools & hardware. We both have a great time! Checkout can be a bit slow, & they tend to run out of sale items (rain-checks are available). But I like that they're much more personable than the big home improvement stores. Watch the paper for coupons. They'll also honor the online store price on an item if you take in a print-out.
