I bought a groupon for this hotel after reading the reviews which were all good! We were nervous when we pulled in for two reasons, it is on the edge where OKC goes from good to a bit scary, also the outside was nothing to brag about. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we got inside and saw how nicely it had been updated. We are accustomed to staying at nicer hotels and this one was better than we expected. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was recently updated, no chipped counters or rusty bathtub like the outside made us suspect we would find. The final selling point was the shuttle. We took amtrak up from Fort worth and it was wonderful to have the shuttle to help us get around.

This is not an upscale hotel but the location and shuttle to Bricktown make it a good choice. If you take your car to Bricktown you will pay at least $10.00 for Parking. The shuttle from this hotel is free and convenient. You never wait more than 15 minutes for drop off our pick up to return. Don't miss Bricktown. It is a lovely place for shops and restaurants.

the shuttle service was GREAT! We just went to the front desk- shuttle took us directly in front to the show- (perfect because we didn't have to worry about parking or traffic) picked us up when we were done. We then changed & asked shuttle to take us to the club. We had basically a DD. it was great! Again didn't have to worry about parking. ((unless u find a spot- u have to pay for parking in Bricktown area.))

Wasn't so sure when we got there, the outside looks were very deceiving. Once we went in the hotel was very clean and nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helped with anything we needed. The room was basic but was clean and had everything we needed. The best part was the Shuttle Service. The driver was very friendly and we were dropped off and picked up quickly. I would for sure stay here again. The price was great also!

This is by far the most friendly, well run and best bargain in Oklahoma City! Pet friendly, a great shuttle service, warm and professional staff and terrific location are only a few of the reasons that I would recommend staying at the Bricktown Hotel and Convention Center.

pretty ok hotel. nice prices, and therefore a bit out of town. the free shuttle service makes up for that. nothing to complain about. had a nice stay

If your visiting OKC and are looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel. Now the appearance may not be appealing as some of the other big chain hotels but the inside and staff make up for it. The owner is very friendly and wants to make sure your stay is enjoyable. You will see him when you visit the hotel, don't be afraid to introduce yourself...he's a very nice guy. From the front desk personnel to the housekeepers even to the shuttle drivers...the entire staff is friendly. They definitely make you feel at home there and welcomed. The rooms are nice and the inside is very well kept. Good value for your money! And the best part, they have a shuttle that will take you anywhere in Bricktown and Midtown anytime. They will even pick you up when you call them, now how many hotels do that?? So if your looking for good hospitality and a comfortable room...this is your place!

We only stayed here one night and arrived too late to make the most of the free shuttle, but the hotel itself was very smart, very clean, and had the biggest bed of our whole Route 66 trip. Wish we had longer here but have nothing but compliments for the hotel and staff.

For those that are worried that it is not down town Oklahoma City, do not worry, because after the sun goes down Oklahoma City is empty and all the night life is out at Bricktown. Check in was easy, there were multiple entrances once you had checked in so you could drive your car to the closest one. Free laundry facilities on each floor (open 24/7), a huge plus when you are on a road trip. The other big plus is the courtesy van that is in operation 24/7 to drop you off and pick you up any time of day or night. Your very own designated driver. The driver was also very helpful where to eat and drink down at Bricktown. I would definitely stay there again.

By the looks of this place from the outside and the location by a Waffle House and two truck stops, you wouldn't expect it to be so nice on the inside. The room was very clean and had a nice bed, a big flat screen tv with lots of cable channels and a really nice shower. As nice as hotels for twice the price in the same general area. Breakfast was certainly adequate (what do you expect for a steal of a nightly rate?). The shuttle drivers were awesome and just made me feel like I was the most important person in OKC. Front desk staff was very nice too and gave me pointers on where to go for a run (you don't want to head down MLK from the sounds of it, but otherwise the neighborhood is okay). I am a fan of places like this, great price and awesome service with a clean room with everything you need + breakfast---i'll be back.

The outside was kinda scary upon arrival... but the inside was very clean, and the staff very nice and eager to help. Our room was simple, but remember it was clean. I have stayed at more expensive hotels that were not that clean. The breakfast area was very roomy, and staff there to make the waffles. The shuttle is a BIG PLUS!!! not having to fight traffic, and front door arrival was very nice. The drivers were nice, and suggested good places to eat. Both shuttles were busy, and the owner took us in the VIP hummer. I liked that he was on site during the busy weekend. He also drove the shuttle van a couple of times. All in all we would stay there again. The beds were comfortable. remember... don't judge a book by it's cover. With the money we saved we were able to do more things in OKC
