Awesome Care lives up to their name!

I absolutely adore this place, all the workers were extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Clough was very helpful and patient with all my questions that i asked and also explained everything I needed to know thoroughly and step by step. You can really tell they care for your animals as if they were their own and will help your pet every way they can. I highly recommend going here.

Dr. Cough is OUTSTANDING!!!!! Awesome Care Veterinary & Laser Center is AWESOME!!! They most certainly live up to their name. The entire crew are wonderfu caring folks. With 5 Miniature Aussies I should know. . . . . Dr. Cough will stand by your side at 3am if needed. She is the most caring and loving vet I have EVER MET. . . . She and her staff are more concerned about you and your animals than making a big profit.

How nice it is to meet a Veterinarian that not only cares about my pet but she cares about my pet's owner. I actually met Dr Clough a couple of years ago at another hospital, she was amazing when she came into the room she immediately smiled at and made gentle eye contact with my nervous baby. She talked to her for a moment then finally introduced herself to me. Throughout the visit she was caring and compassionate to my pets fear and needs. She talked gently through her exam and made sure I understood every aspect of her exam. She left that hospital and bought Awesome Care a couple of months ago where she was able to actually lower the prices which really helped our family this year. She sees not only my 2 pets by 7 other family members pets. We think she is great. I would tell anyone go see her and you will never want another vet again. She is honest and will try to help get an affordable treatment plan even when payday is a week away. Dr Clough if you are reading this. We love You Sissy and Spook!!!!!

Dr. Julieta Gonzalez passed away August 1, 2011 after a valient fight with cancer.



I am writing this review to dispel some of the viscious comments posted here. I suspect that those reviews were written and planted as a personal attack on Dr. Gonzalez because of some sick or twisted jealousy and I believe all were written by the same person. I say this because:



I knew Dr. Gonzalez personally and can state with no hestitation that she was a saint to any animal she cared for. As an example, I have personally accompanied her to her clinic after hours and witnessed as she would comfort, cry and literally lie down beside sick animals and pray for them. I also know for a fact that money was never an issue for her and she took care of any animal brought to her clinic no matter if the patient had funds to pay or not. She would even take in anonymous, injured animals brought to her absorbing all costs associated with their treatment in rehabilitation.



I have never known a more caring or knowledgeable veterinarian in my lifetime and doubt that I will ever meet another like her. Shame on you, whoever you are that wrote those lying reviews.

Are you kidding me???!! I have lived in the okc area for over 25 years. Most of which I have owned dogs. I have been to many clinics in this area and Awesome care is the best. Two of my dogs have been thru surgery with both Dr. Julie and Dr. Cowdrey. They and their staff are compassionate both to myself and my pets. They have always been thorough in their testing before they come to a decision on what you shoud/can do for your pet. They offer options to you depending on how much you can or want to do. I hav ecompared prices with other clinics and found Awesome care to be right in line with the other top clinics in OKC. While I'm sure there are cheaper clinics in the area, you get what you pay for, and my pets deserve the best care I can give them.

My dogs love to go there. The clinic is always very clean and quiet, not chaotic like many others. I have been all through the clinic when my dog was there recouping from surgery. The entire clinic is filled with the most up to date equipment they can offer and all pets are kept in clean cages. They also have a exercise yard with agility course.

My neighbor also takes his pets to Awesome Care. I would recommend them to anyone that truely wants the best care for their pets and the kindest attitude for your concerns as their parents.

I assure you everyone in the clinic speaks perfect english. Please go check them out and let me know what you think.

I have three dogs, one of them is an English Bulldog. Bulldogs have special needs that most vets can't always handle. I took him to Awesome Care when a friend suggested them. I'm not easily impressed, and I watch the interactions of all staff with the dogs. It isn't just about the vets. It's how the entire staff makes the animals feel. I've yet to have any of my dogs not want to go in when we are there. The bulldog comes in, says his hi and tries to head back to the exam room. They are caring, always give you the time you need to ask questions, and always make sure you have all your answers before you leave. After surgery one time, the bulldog had some added problems with the incision, and he was in there just about every day for a few days. We would just drop in, and they would take care of him....at no cost to us. Dr. Cowdrey always tells it like it is, and pulls no punches. I like that. She's always got the welfare of the dogs as the top priority, and takes the time to make sure they are taken care of. I know I can call there any time and get answers, and many times that means talking directly to her. The staff there is excellent, and I'll not be changing vets.

IS A REALLY AWESOME VETERINARY HOSPTIAL

This is one of the best Pet Clinic/Hospitals in the state of Oklahoma. I would highly recommend it to anyone who demands highest quality pet care.

Over the past several years I have used alot of veterinarians for my pets.



Once i used awesome care, I never went back to any of the other places again.



They provide a very high quality of care for pets and they always make sure they find out what the problem is, when other vets can't or don't know.



I do know that they are highly qualified vets, and the staff is also great and friendly.



Everytime I go there, the clinic is nice and clean, and smells as fresh as a breezy meadow!



My pets don';t always respond well to vets, but when I take them to awesome care's clinmic they never get stressed out over going in. That is because they are treated so well by the staff and the docs there.



The last time i took my pets there for their checkups the vet was awesome "like their name". She really helped me with everyting so well tha i didn't have to worry about anything.



I won't keep going on and on with this review, but i would like to end by saying that it is about time we got a clinic like theirs in oklahoma city. especlly the south side. most south side clinics ouldn't compare to this one if they tried for a hundred years. too bad fro them.



Anyway, i'm never switching to another pet clinic. ever. I apprecate all you do for muy pets, and i hope you stay in business for along time too because I don't know what my pets would do without you.'



If there is anything you ould do to imporove your service it would be to have a bigger place so that more people could come thre with their dogs, and maybe you should start a day camp too. I would trust you with all my pets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this clinic They are awesome for sure. clean facility and very knowledgeable about all aspects of health care for pets. I wouldn't go anywhere else with mine.

Hello everyone! I wanted to take a minute to put my two cents in on the review of this particular business.

I take my pets there regularly and they are fantastic. They go the extra mile and are professional and super super kind to my pets. My pets love the staff! I am crazy about the service I receive for my pets at the Awesome care vet hospital.

Awesome Care is a great clinic for all pets. The only downside is that there aren't more locations!!! I drive from Moore to the SW 74th location, but I pass 20 vet clinics along the way to Awesome Care because it is the only clinic I trust with my beloved pets.

They are gentle, kind and very professional. They take great care of my pets and always have since I first visited them years ago. The prices are average and the care is way above average!

AWESOME CARE ROCKS!!!!

My wife and I have been clients of Awesome Care for many years now. Each and every time we visit the clinic our pets love the experience and leave happy. They never fight us to go in the door at the clinic because the entire staff is very loving and kind toward them.

The treatment they receive is exceptional because they perform testing to zero in on the problem so that we can get to the solution immediately and without numerous visits back and forth to the clinic. The clean environment is a super plus as well! Thank you Awesome Care!

I am extremely picky in choosing the best health care for my Great Danes. Awesome care has provided me and my Danes with exceptional service for many years. My last Dane lived to be almost 12 years old because of the superb treatment that she received at Awesome Care, and my 2 year old Dane has been receiving the same quality of treatment as well.

I receive cards in the mail and phone calls when my pet is sick to check on my pet and remind me to bring her in for a final checkup after medications are given. I receive reminder cards for all the shots, preventative treatments and tests that pets need in order to keep them happy and healthy. I can call and speak to my pet's Vet and ask questions and get advice.

During the several years of regular visits to this clinic, I have been very impressed by the thorough tests they perform to ensure that I make the best treatment decisions for my pets. For instance, today I took my Dane to Awesome Care for a swollen eye and red spots on her abdomen. Although Dr. Julieta was certain that it was a chemical reaction from my swimming pool water, she advised me to allow her to scrape some of the tissue from my Dane's abdomen to test it to make sure that there wasn't something else going on with my pet since she had gone to a Doggy camp last weekend to play with her doggie friends. She also tested her cornea for damage to make sure that it was in fact just an allergic reaction. Thank you Dr. Julieta! Dr. Julieta has a beautiful accent, but speaks clear and fluent English and is always very thorough with treatments and is always very kind and loving with my pets. THEY LOVE ALL THE VETS AT AWESOME CARE and they have such a positive experience every single time. I also want to add that the cleanliness, and professionalism at Awesome Care is superb every single time I visit!

Awesome Care Clinic has provided the best care for our "kids": 4 dogs including 2 lovable pit mixes. In fact, my husband and I live in Norman and make the trip to Awesome Care, and specifically to Dr. Cowdrey, because of the service we receive there - Dr. Cowdrey has even contacted us during a weekend to check on the status of one of our dogs after we took her home after a procedure. We've referred multiple friends and colleagues to Awesome Care.



I read the reviews by mimimama and leximama below and strongly feel that this is one of those clients who expect their animals to be cared for (or their LIVES SAVED) at no charge and then get mad when they realize that's not the case - Awesome Care has very reasonable prices, and are in fact quite a bit lower than other clinics we've gone to before discovering them. We have never experienced a bad odor in the clinic - when you enter the cozy lobby, it doesn't smell like a vet clinic at all. The clinic is always clean, and the staff are friendly and caring. The comment regarding a language barrier is laughable - we have been going to Awesome Care for more than a year and have never experienced a language barrer with anyone there. Dr. Cowdrey does not speak any languages that we're aware of besides English, and Dr. Julie is bilingual and is able to assist both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.



Awesome Care is a wonderful clinic, and we are so glad we found it!

I just want to thank you, and let you know how pleased we are with the care our dogs have received when visiting your clinic! As a long time animal owner, I am very picky about where I take my animals for their health care. Each and every time we have been to your clinic, we have been greeted by a happy caring staffmember. They immediately make you feel right at home.

I think it's wonderful that they do provide service in both English and Spanish, as Oklahoma has a large Hispanic population. The clinic is clean and sanitary, as are all the staff that I have come into contact with.

When one of my dogs get sick, after visiting with Dr. Jaime Cowdrey, I always get a follow up phone call the very next day, to see how my dog is doing. My own "people" doctor doesn't even do that for me!!

We have been part of a rescue organization for Husky and Alaskan Malamutes. Both doctors at this clinic were happy to work with us for these dogs, both on health, and pricing. We have had other vets in the past who may have been a tiny bit cheaper to go to, but let's face it, you get what you pay for. When my animals go to this clinic, I KNOW that they will receive the best of care, both medically, and compassionately. We would not even think of going to anyone else.

I encourage both Dr. Julie, and Dr. Jaime to keep up the great work. It is such a relief to know that should my animals get sick or hurt, I can count on them to do everything in their power for them. God Bless Awesome Care!!

10 years performing laser surgery

I have been in other clinics in the Oklahoma City area and none compare to the warmth and comfort Awesome Care provides.Prior to being employed at Awesome Care I had interviews at several other clinics, which were larger in size, but chose to work here. I immediately loved the employees and doctors and the cleanliness of the place. I wasn't put off by odors, or dirt and dust because there weren't any. All of the staff were cheery and welcoming and made you feel like you had been coming there for years, and I had just came in to fill out an application. I pride myself in making all of our customers, new, old and just people walking in to see the place; feel that exact same way. As an employee of many other vet hospitals, shelters and organizations, none have compared to the homeliness of Awesome Care. Other clinics are sterile feeling, but here at Awesome Care we provide the best care and treatment for any animal that walks in the door and still make the clients feel like they can be themselves and continue to come in and be treated the same way every time.

The place smells like wet dogs, and you cant understand the vet at all. Overpriced as well.
