Decided to go with this company, as there were a few (outdated) positive reviews on them. The care givers were great but just ALWAYS late! And not 5, 10 or 15 minutes late, late as in over 30-45 minutes late. Not good for my Dad, esp. when he is waiting and NEEDS someone right then! I’d call to ask what the hold up was, only for her (there is only one person to speak with) to have an attitude in her voice to me. Like am I to just overlook the fact that she promised, over and over again, what the schedule would be and then I would ask her to let us know when the aides are behind? She wouldn’t, hence another call? This last time, she sent a different aide (without calling me) and gave her the code to unlock the front door to my Dads house. In comes this stranger and spooked my Dad pretty badly. When I called to “complain yet again”, she calls my Dads case worker to let her know she is firing us! Incredible! Fire us? She only did what I should have done from the beginning of this mess! Customer service as bad as they come. This is your hint to not go with them. When I called her to tell her she did not need to send their staff this next week, she said “my pleasure!” No...it was mine.

The care givers were great - but never on time. The management is awful! She (the only person you can speak with at the office) will tell you one thing regarding the schedule, and then it would not happen. I had to call practically every week, around 1/2 hour or more after they were supposed to be there to care for my Dad, and she would give me an excuse of one thing or another. She acted like I was bugging her for calling, when it seems she should have been apologetic to me! Never once did she do that. Then she sent someone my Dad had never had (a stranger to him), who was able to unlock the door with the code we gave his regular aide, and scared my Dad so badly. I called again to complain about this. The next day - she FIRED us! Got word that we needed to find someone else. Go figure! Can't get good customer service anywhere these days - and this place is right up at the top of the worse. You've' been forewarned!

I was so happy to finally receive both compassionate and professional care for my parents from a company that is run by a nurse. The previous home care company I had used was not managed by anybody with a medical background, and my parents were not taken care of well at all. Care Connections staff was availalble to speak to 24 hours a day, and they always answered the phone without me having to leave a message and get a response several hours later. Most important, the nurses at Care Connnectons were able to adjust my parents' care as needed, and I could always depend on the home health aide to show up. The aides always had a great understanding of my parents medical and emotional needs, and I was so relieved to have them take care of my parents as I am out of state It's always so important to trust someone when you can't be there, and the professional services of Care Connections more than met my parents needs, they offered a good price for taking care of 2 people together

they provided good aides in less than a 24 hour period. They allowed changes in hours without complaints from the office. They listened to the type of aide we wanted, and allowed us to choose the aides we felt were best for our father. I would use them again without hesitation.
