What is a loan modification? A loan modification is when your current lender lowers your monthly mortgage payment by altering one or more of the following: * Lower interest rate * Reduce principal * Convert from variable to fixed rate * Extend length of loan * Bring past due payments current Why would my lender agree to a loan modification? In the long run, your lender will benefit more from renegotiating you loan and keeping you in your home with lower payments, than foreclosing on your home. The formal proceedings associated with foreclosure are very costly and often result in large losses for lenders. On average, a mortgage lender will spend over $15,000 in mitigation costs. Why should I choose Wright & Morrison to renegotiate my loan? Wright & Morrison is Utah companies with 27 years combined experience helping homeowners avoid foreclosure and lowering their monthly mortgage payments. There are many pitfalls that can hurt the homeowner and even make their financial situation worse if proper protocol is not followed. Wright & Morrison focuses on loan modification. And our attorneys and paralegals have the experience necessary to get you the absolute best terms. How is a loan modification different from a refinance? A refinance has credit requirements and/or money down and is a completely new and different loan. A loan modification is simply modifying the existing loan terms and requires no money down or good credit.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

After my husband lost his job, we thought we were going to lose our house. The bank sent us a letter telling us they were going to foreclose so we contacted Wright and Morrison. We were not sure what to think when Mr. Wright told us he believed they could not only get the bank to put our back payments into our loan, but he could also lower our payments. They really did it!!! They lowered our payment by $300.00 a month and now the bank considers us current. They were wonderful to deal with and I cannot thank them enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

from scared to thrilled

I am one of those people who believe that if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. Not the case with this company! I was almost 3 months behind and freaking out that I was going to lose my home. A couple of different people told me their experience with the company and said that in both cases they not only stopped foreclosure from happening but their monthly payment on their homes went down.Wright and Morrison started negotiating with my lender and I hoped for the best. I can honestly say that it ended way way better than i could have imagined. My house payment was $1,523. I was hoping they could bring it down to maybe a thousand because I knew I could handle that payment. Theron, one of the attorneys went over the paperwork with me that they had worked out and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My payment went from $1,523 per month to $577 per month!!! That is less than I would pay for a cheap apartment rental. I would OBVIOUSLY recommend them to anyone who is over their head with their mortgage and could use a lower payment. It has been 3 months since and I have made all my payments on time. Every time I have made the payment I am amazed how little my new payment is. We are using the extra money to catch up on other bills and even save up for a Vacation.
