BIG Z RESTAURANT IS NOT CLOSED!!!! IT IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. THIS IS AN AMAZING PLACE TO EAT, AND CONDUCT YOUR MEETINGS, OR BIRTHDAY PARTIES.

I had a chance to eat here with a good friend of mine and her 6 yr old daughter. The 6 yr old had the child pancake, egg, and bacon breakfast at 2 pm, and left her plate empty ( that says a lot about the food already). My friend had the "Grilled Balsamic Chicken Sandwich on grilled pressed sour dough bread" , and she loved it. I asked to taste their Country Sausage Gravy so I knew if it was to spicy for me, and I loved it. I was going to order their "Biscuits and More" ( 2 buttermilk biscuits topped with country fried chicken, 2 eggs, homemade bacon bits, homemade country gravy, and shredded cheese) , however, when I tasted their country gravy I loved it so much, I just asked for "french fries smothered in their country gravy with melted cheese on top..IT WAS WONDERFUL, AND I ATE EVERY BITE( any one who knows me would tell you..I almost never finish all the food on my plate..but, not at BIG Z'S).. "BIG Z" IS A BEAUTIFUL HAVEN A BLOCK AWAY FROM "VALUE PLACE" AN EXTENDED HOTEL. SO, YOU CAN STAY AT "VALUE PLACE", AND THEN GO EAT AT "BIG Z"..WHAT A WAY TO SPEND A DAY..I would suggest you try their gravy but, a little bird told me their steaks, chicken, and enchiladas are awesome also. Everyone at BIG Z is friendly, and if anything is wrong with your meal, please ask to speak to the manager, or owner as both of them are usually on site. The other thing I forgot to tell you was this is a very inexpensive place to eat, especially for the quantity, and quality of their food. BIG Z also has a beautiful fireplace surrounded with brick inlay-ed walls, and a marble breakfast bar. If you feel like a glass of wine, or a beer you can get that here also.. Their hours are 7am- 9pm M-SAT and 7am-4 pm on SUN. Please consider making your next Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner out at BIG Z'S ..I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY...Have a Great Day..
