I absolutely LOVE The Animal Park. I take my siberian husky there all the time for puppy daycare, and also boarding when we are out of town. It has helped socialize her, and also lets her play and burn up her energy while I am working. She loves it there, and they take really good care of her. She is always excited when I drop her off, and always tired and happy when I pick her up. The owner and staff are ALL very friendly, and they even helped me find a food that worked for my dog's allergies. I am extremely impressed with their customer service, and their attention and care for the dogs.

I would rate 0 stars if that was possible. Worst customer service ever!!! The owner, JJ is one of the rudest people I've ever done business with and I will NEVER set foot in this store again. I have spent thousands of dollars in this store and referred many people here, but that has all promptly come to a complete halt. I feed my dogs the Acana regionals Wild Prairie dog food from this store. At $75 for a 28 lb. bag, it's pricey, but well worth it for my fur-babies. About a month ago, I went in to purchase my regular dog food, but was informed that they got a new distributor and were out of stock. Disappointed, but realizing the circumstances were beyond the store's control, I purchased a smaller (15lb bag) of a different flavor from Acana's same line. I paid $56 for $15. I purchased the smaller bag thinking the next time I went in, surely they would have gotten the Wild Prairie back in stock. I was wrong. I went in yet again, about 2 weeks later and they were still out of my regular food, and this time also out of the one I had purchased 2 weeks prior. My dogs have food allergies and are very sensitive to what I feed them. It's always a scary thing changing their diet. Frustrated, I asked the owner if they would substitute another flavor of the same line. Acana's Pacifica, it runs about $10 more than my regular, but asked if they would give it to me at the Wild Prairie's price since this was the 2nd time they had been out of stock. Reluctantly, JJ agreed but not without being rude. Well, it's been a week and my dogs HATE the Pacifica. I saved my receipt, as I have saved EVERY SINGLE one of my receipts from this store. I did not however, have the original bag the food came in because I have a 30lb dog food container I keep the food in to keep it fresh. I brought the dog food back with my original receipt, but was informed by JJ that I would be unable to exchange the food because I didn't have the original bag with the UPC code. If he would have kindly told me when I purchased the food to save the original package, I would have. No food was missing from the bag, as my dog's had been eating my mom's dog food she buys for her dog since they hated the Pacifica flavor. JJ told me they would be getting a new shipment of my regular food tomorrow, but would have to purchase at full price. Load of crap!! I left this store VERY disappointed, and decided to call Acana's corporate to see what they had to say. They were very kind and more than willing to work with me and get me compensated for in a fair manner. They also stated that each of their sellers is free to run how they like, but that they'd never heard of one of their suppliers running business like this. They recommended I shop online at chewy.com, I checked them out online and their prices are about $10 cheaper than animal park on the wild prairie food, plus free shipping. Furthermore, if you get on their auto-delivery program, it's almost $20 cheaper! I guess all in all, it was a blessing in disguise that JJ at Animal Park treated me so poorly, because I will now be shopping at Chewy.com where they have AWESOME customer service and AWESOME prices!! :D

Try to avoid pre-paid day care or boarding passes. Please read about our very disappointing experience because this may save you the frustration and well ... your money. My husband and I have spent close to $2,500.00 in the past year at The Animal Park between day care, boarding, and dog treats. We have always called in advance to schedule a day care or boarding visit and we always picked up our furry companion when we said we would. Our situation changed unexpectedly, which left us no choice but to re-home our dog. To make the staff aware, we brought this to their attention. After we found another home for him, we realized that we had four remaining day care passes. I was completely aware that they would not offer a refund for those days, which I understood. However, I thought it would only be fair if they would allow me to at least apply those remaining funds to items in their store. I was beyond disappointed after speaking with J.J., the owner, to find out that this was something he was not willing to allow me to do. All things considered, I do not believe that what I was asking for was unreasonable. As stated, I understand the no refund policy in place, but what I do not understand or agree with is when a business owner is not willing to accommodate or make an exception in certain situations. In our case, not allowing any remaining funds ($60) to be applied towards items in their store. in my opinion, is unfair and very selfish of this business owner. I believe 60% or possibly more of customers gained at a place of business, such as The Animal Park, are by word of mouth. Due to our experience, I have made it point to find every site linked to The Animal Park so that I can hopefully share our story to prevent this from happening to some one else. There are many facilities that offer the same services in that area that not only appreciate their customers but also ensure fair and reasonable business practices. I would highly recommend supporting these doggy day care/boarding facilities before you decide to support J.J. and his business at The Animal Park in Ogden.

We LOVE The Animal Park! We worried about leaving our furry family members so much that we even changed the way we vacation. We sold our Worldmark memberships and bought a motorhome just so that we could be sure to take our whole family with us when we vacationed. Of course we cannot always take them everywhere we go. So, we were Thrilled to find The Animal Park! JJ and Debbie are incredible! They take care of our Sadie (yellow lab) and Thomas (black pug) like they are their own. The true test was our return visit when they jumped out of the car and ran inside. One of our favorite highlights is when we add on a full groom (we call it a doggie detail) They smell great and look wonderful! The Animal Park is hands down the BEST place in Ogden for a doggie vacation. Thanks again JJ and Debbie!

My favorite thing about this facility is my dog likes it! taking my dog for a groom to the Animal Park was a great experience for me and my dog. My dog was groomed the way I requested (with no missed spots!)When I picked her up I was asked if I liked her hair cut. I don't think I've ever been asked that before. When I took her back for a second groom, she was happy to go! My dog is happy, I am happy. Great Job.

Excellent Boarding Facility in Ogden. We found the Animal Park after looking for a facility that doesn't put the dogs into kennels all day and night. A nice clean facility that will be our regular spot for our dogs on every vacation from now on. Keep up the good work!

Finally a place in Ogden where you can board your dog and their NOT locked up in a kennel all day. Our dog Molly loved running around and playing all day, then she got to stay in her own private kennel at night. We liked the fact that there was a small dog area completely seperate from the big dogs. We will definitely be back! If you haven't seen this place you MUST check it out!

We took our Shih Tzu to The Animal Park for a groom. Wow, what a nice place. Alot of grooming places don't are run down, dirty and smell. Not this place, it clean, smells great and what great service. Debbie, she made sure that I was happy with the groom and seemed to really care about our dog. We even scheduled some day care appointments also. I can say enough about this place. Ogden has a great place to get a groom. Thanks again, we will see you next time, Boo needs a groom.
