Initially, I was thrilled with NorthView. As long as you just need cleaning and small fillings, they are great. They do have a friendly staff and well run office. The trouble started when I had larger cavities and as middle age stuck, required more care. At that point, it all went south! And I mean in a hurry! The fillings I had done there have all had to be redone in a matter of years. During long procedures involving large fillings there, it seems like the anesthetics wore off a lot, something that has not been a problem elsewhere. I can't even imagine letting them do a root canal. I get the feeling that the place is run on the cheap, with corners being cut. Long term, I do not think their work holds up. So the problems may not seem obvious at first but you will pay for it down the road. Beware!

I love Northview Dental! I know several friends and family who are patients and they have always had good things to say about the whole office. I know people who have called their dentist at home late at night or on the weekend with an emergency and the dr came in to take care of them. Very impressed. Reading the comment below just makes you realize....some people just can't be pleased! Some people are unhappy no matter where they go or what they do. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for good a good dental office.

I have never liked going to the dentist. One day a friend was telling me about how funny her dentist was and how she gets a free teeth whitening kit. I asked her where she goes and she told me about Northview Dental. I decided to make an appointment (it has been 2 years since I had been to the dentist because I just felt so uncomfortable). When I walked in, the front desk girls were so nice and welcoming. The doctor I saw was so nice and made me feel comfortable. I feel like he really listened to me. He took his time and gave me his total attention, something I'm not used to for a dentist. He showed me my x-rays and told me about what he was seeing. I felt involved and like he really cared about me and the health of my teeth. When I checked out, they explained my insurance and even gave me a print out of what my insurance was expected to pay. They made sure that I had a good experience and even asked me to fill out a survey that they give to new patients to make sure they wer

My blood boils when I think of this dentist office. My first dentist decided to go to lunch instead of inspecting my teeth. My second dentist was nice, but made me come in a second time to do a 5 minute mouth guard mold instead of taking the time right then to do it. Then I got my mouthguard and it was high on one side and the receptionist ignorantly told me it will wear down on the high side. It caused my jaw to work twice as hard to grind it down so that it would then wear evenly. Then to top it all off, they billed me wrong and the receptionist argued with me and challenged my memory on the price which the dentist had quoted me. I was standing right there when the dentist told her how much it would cost originally. They finally cleared it up, but no one bothered to inform me. And the kicker...a year later some teenage girl calls me at 8:00pm trying to schedule a cleaning. She called two nights in a row. Was I going to change my mind in 24 hours? Um...NO!

I read the previous comment and could not believe the person was talking about the same office I go to. The doctors and staff are wonderful and I have always received quality, caring work. I also love their free whitening for life program. I would highly recommend Northview Dental to all!

I had an appointment for a root canal, I thought all would be well since I had seen this doctor in the past. The Dental office had billed my insurance for the entire root canal and cap, but refused to finish the work until I turned them in to my insurance co. The insurance company had to call and inform them since they already paid for it they had to finish the work and then get my portion of the bill, that they couldn't just leave it half way done. So I went in to have the work finished. After he cemented the cap on, I told him it set to high and was uncomfortable. He proceeded to push on it as hard as he could, the cap still didn't fit. So in the end he ended up shaving the tooth located above the cap to allow room for the cap. Now the top of my mouth is in severe pain and a year later the tooth that had the root canal is in excruciating pain!!! So in the end they got money from me and my dental insurance for torture and pain they caused and now I have to find another dentist
