John was overall friendly and took care of me, actually went out of his way to wait for me to get back from the bank so i could take the truck i bought home that night. However, a week after owning the truck, i got it broadside in the sun and noticed the hood and both fenders were a different color than the rest of the truck. I bought it on an overcast day and the paint wasn't popping like it did in the sun, so i didn't notice. John was also very sure to show me a "clean" carfax, so i wasnt looking anyways. Yes, i know, getting hosed is the risk you carry when you buy used. Regardless, it isn't fun paying $1500 to get your truck repainted right after buying it. John claimed he didn't know the truck had been in an accident or had different shades of paint, but had previously told me he bought it at an auto auction where they will go over vehicle flaws, so take it for what you will. Just don't go buying here with any sort of trust in mind. 2 stars because otherwise, it went well.
