The Human Resources Department provides services for the city's employees, as well as the public, by developing and managing the personnel programs, including employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, employee development and risk management. The department is located in Ocoee, Fla., and is a part of the City of Ocoee in Florida, which also governs a range of other departments, such as fire, finance, parks and recreation, police and public works departments. Its public works department is responsible for the maintenance of city-owned streets and sidewalks; maintenance of storm water systems and city-owned facilities; and oversight and operations of the residential solid waste programs. Its fire department operates engines, trucks, tankers, disaster trailers and various support vehicles to provide rescue services to the people of Florida.
