New Song At-A-Glance New Song Community Church turned 16 on Sept. 27, 2008. We are a Southern California, externally-focused church, In 2007, we saw 784 invite Christ into their lives for the first time. 350 of those were on short-term missions trips to Mexico, Honduras, the Philippines and Thailand. The remainder took place through our direct ministries as a church. Our belief is that the Lord will use us ever more fruitfully in 2009, as we continue with our current ministries and add to them a film-making business. "How to Save A Life", a movie about preventing teen violence and suicide, is due to be released in Fall 2009 *. * A recent survey of the top influences on culture day showed that the church doesn't make the list, whereas movies are the number one influence. So we decided to influence our world by making a movie. New Song is very focused and intense about its mission, vision, and strategic significance to God's plans for the 300, 000 people who reside within a 20 minute drive of our present location. Being 3 miles south of Marine Base Camp Pendleton, we have a huge heart for ( and a huge population of ) Marines and Sailors. Our building is situated 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean, in the historic "Mission district" of Oceanside.

I've been attending New Song for many years. Pastor Hal's teaching has always been biblically based, engaging, informative & practical. The music is great, and the staff and volunteers genuinely want to do their part in fulfilling Jesus' Great Commission. Sunday service and Life groups are great opportunities to investigate Christianity and to grow in your faith. It's been a blessing to me being a part of this church family. "Come and see..."

New Song Church is an amazing teaching church of God's Word. The atmosphere is friendly and warm, you feel like family on the first visit. The Jesus first teaching is amazing for all ages. It is a multi-ethic and multi-generational church. It is a great place for children and teens to learn and grow their faith. I am enjoying the Life Groups that are available to connect with other believers and grow my faith. Please, I invite you to come and see for yourself the amazing teachings of this church. DS

This is one of the friendliest churches I've ever attended. From the parking lot to the auditorium, I felt welcomed and valued. People here are authentic and there is no pretense. One look around will tell you that this is a diverse congregation where people of all backgrounds and ethnicities have become a family who loves God and loves each other.

Scripture is taught and personal application is encouraged. The messages are relevant and theologically sound, and the pastor is not only a great speaker, he is extremely kind-hearted and approachable.

Family ministries (children, youth, young adults) are all top-tier. In fact, their annual kids' camp is hands-down the most exciting and engaging I have ever witnessed.

If you are looking for a church in Oceanside or Carlsbad, I would highly recommend this church if you are looking for a place that is loving, warm, and engaging. No previous church experience is required; everyone is welcome at New Song.

cult that doesnt care

Pastor Hal seed is a strong supporter of Rick Warren even though i have emailed him proof of his false teachings several times. His son Bryan never plays any really good praise and worship music that i forwarded to him from YouTube. Just their own agenda there with no compromise. Rude gay people here and not something i would recommend to anybody!
