Sellers be forewarned. This place uses "classic" negotiating techniques and will not be swayed, will not deviate from them. Example: the buyer will NOT make you an offer for your jewelry; instead, you have to tell them what you want for it. If you're too high, they will explain why your asking price is unreasonable but they will NOT counteroffer. In other words, the seller must keep lowering their price until you've met their maximum pay price. Guess what happens if your first offer is way lower than the fair market price? You've just sold them something that's going to minimize your return and maximize Leo's revenue. The process would go a lot smoother if Leo's buyer would just tell you up front what they'll pay for your item, but of course, by doing that they lose the opportunity to low-ball you (or you low-balling yourself).



My wife and I went their a few months to sell some of her jewelry, and this process moved her to tears. I had to pull her out of the store before she totally lost it. If you goal is to maximize your return and share a satisfying experience with the buyer, then Leo's is the LAST place you want to go to.
