I went to fix auto after I was backed into and had a scratch on my headlight and my bumper was broken. They said it would take 2 days. A week later my car ws finally done (no updates from shop the entire time) I picked up my car at night, the bumper looked great but when I looked at it in the morning i found that the scratch on my headlight was still there and my 2012 cars paint had been completely scratched all over the car. Swirl marks everywhere and significant scratches on the back panel. Also the headlight wasnt even fixed!



When I brought it in, the employee Andre told me that it didnt happen there and I must've washed it with an abrasive. Sorry but in the 10 months ive owned this car ive never even wiped it down and only gone through touchless car washes, however now a day after THEY washed it, I apparently scratched the heck out of my own paint?!?



After waiting for a manager for 20 minutes Andre finally came back out and once again blamed me for the damage, went on to tell me that even though he doesnt know if it happened at the shop, they'd go ahead and fix it. We went over the entire car and I pointed out the multiple scratches and swirl marks. He went on again to tell me how I probably did the damage myself and how I could avoid doing this damage to my car again in the future. Can you imagine how furious this made me?!?! Still they took my car and after ANOTHER week, returned it, this time headlight fixed and the damage THEY did to my paint was fixed. Andre made sure to tell me one last time how he couldnt prove that it happened there but I should be careful in the future to not do that to my paint. Sorry Andre but you know that paperwork you do when I turned in the car stating the existing damage, that IS the proof that YOUR SHOP did the damage. Ive told everyone I know in a large prominant Carlsbad company how terrible your service was, how long you took and about your rude accusations. I hope it was worth it to you!
