A relative was sent to this facility for rehabilitation to build strength up. Was mentally fine and physically able to get around when arrived at this facility. The first day complained they were giving too much oxygen. The following morning complained about the food. The third morning complained of hearing voices. Said did not know what medication they were giving because it was all a different color than what had been taken in the hospital or at home. The staff just said it was a different manufacturer.

The afternoon of the third day left this facility and went on and is doing great no longer hearing voices and doing fine. I Believe the staff were giving medication to alter mental faculties to institute permanent mental damage or cause premature death. I know several people that work in or have worked in nusring homes and they told me about what goes on. I never believed it until now. When I found out how much money the government gives for each person staying in a nursing home I see why they contribute to the mental and physical decline of patients.

I was told that this is the second best nursing faclity in Ocala. Frightening! After reading the other two reviews I was worried and I am glad I was. I told this patient about the two reviews on this site and to be alert of anything going on. Only took 12 hours until negative side effects of medication started. Please, if you have an option do not put your loved one in this or any other nursing home.

was very disappointed in entire experience. Poor quality, quantity, and consistency in therapy, food, environment. Staff continually working short, need of patients not meet. Needs revamping and new management, needs moneys spent wisely on quality care.
