Christopher Jolley, MD, attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his pediatric residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Jolley joined the University of Florida faculty in 1998 and has served as Division Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition since 2004. In his role as chief, Dr. Jolley is responsible for organizing inpatient coverage, as well as outpatient clinics and procedures, including endoscopy. In support of UF's mission to train and teach residents and medical students, he is very involved in medical student clerkship lectures, as well as resident and fellow education. He created one of the department's first web-based curricula that is available to all residents and students participating in the elective. Dr. Jolley has served as the director of the UF Health Feeding Aversion Program since 1998. This multidisciplinary practice allows several specialists to see a patient in a single visit and provide diagnostic assistance. Dr. Jolley is also the director for the UF Department of Pediatrics outreach program and is responsible for providing care to children outside of the Gainesville area. In addition, Dr. Jolley serves as the medical director for UF Health Pediatric Specialties - Medical Plaza in Gainesville.
