The first time we ate at Quick and Delicious we had the best service. Our waitress went above and beyond and was extremely friendly, she was a huge part of why we decided to return a few more times. In April we purchased gift certificates through restaurant.com. On a previous visit we had used one of those certificates. When we went yesterday we were told it could not be accepted. We paid with cash and did not have the full amount with us to cover the bill without the use of the certificate. We wanted to talk with the manager, but she was not there. Our original server went ahead and accepted the certificate because she wanted to make sure we returned. However, she told us her pay would probably be docked. We gave her our number and asked for the manager to call. The manager called us and was extremely rude. She refused to listen to what I had to say. I wanted to let her know that she had a remarkable employee and that because of her we would be back and that docking her pay, in our opinion, was unfair. She made it clear that rules are rules and that the server should not have accepted it and she would be paying for it. I have no idea why server who is good as the one we had would stay at a restaurant when she is treated so poorly. I am certain she could do better elsewhere. We had intended to return but after my phone conversation with the manager we will never go back. I can’t support a business that treats their employees so poorly.

Underwhelming Overpriced and a manager named Shirley that is quite possibly the rudest person in food service I have ever encountered. The steaks are grade B at best, the salads have no appeal and the daily vegetable was downright disgusting. Enter at your own risk should be posted at the entrance and heeded by all who come looking for a quaint relaxing dining experience in a wonderfully charming town like Oberlin. AVOID this one!

I went here with my daughter today. It WAS 'quick' but far from 'delicious'. It was the first time we had ever been to the restuarant and I let the waitress know that so she would know why I was asking questions. First off she was rude from the drink order till when I asked if we pay at the table or up front (she failed to say ANYTHING when she dropped it on my table and was never seen again) Something was wrong w. their soda machine and when she told me their Pepsi wasnt working, I asked what else they had. She listed all the other types of soda and I told her which Id like then she gave me attitude saying their machine was broke. Well then why'd you list them on what was available. Im a server myself so I usually try not to get upset by how a server behaves (I realize how difficult the job can be) but when our waitress basically shoved our plates in front of us, even my 5yr old looked shocked and that was the end of my patience. I paid the bill (left $2-my ABSOLUTE minimum) and left. I will NEVER go back.
