We went through this company because we liked the owner and thought he knew what he was doing when we talked about planning the project. We had a new AC unit built in from scratch, with no existing vent work etc. The work done was very sloppy, we had to point out several mistakes of which my husband had to fix most of them. About 9 months after the installation, we had bad water damage on the ceiling in the house – the switch of the AC was installed incorrectly, the AC did not stop when the water drain did not work and damaged our house. We called the company and asked for them to stop by. They came over, and first thing they did was vacuum the pipe, although we told them right away that the turn off switch did not work. The guy that came to repair our AC (which was still under warranty) said he had to come back the next day with a new switch, but would have to charge us for vacuuming the pipe. We refused to sign the paperwork – the issue was not a plugged pipe, the drain pipe was actually installed incorrectly, and water could not drain quickly during the summer months when the AC was running more often. That’s why the drip pane filled up and caused water damage (since the switch also did not work to turn off the AC to prevent water damage). They never returned to fix the switch, my husband had to do this himself. When my husband called the owner, he said he had so much overhead and cost of the business – yes, when you have a business, you do have overhead! But you still need to fix what you did incorrectly, and not cry about paying people’s wages!! In addition, they still owe us AC filters. He said he would bring by some after he received the check with the final payment, and of course he never returned. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
