I bought my wedding dress from Carrie Anns early 2014. It was a discounted dress which I took home that day. We had such a great experience there that when it was time to order bridesmaid dresses for my sisters wedding the next year it was a no brainier to go there, Biggest mistake! We ordered the dresses six months in advance and was told that the dresses would be in early May. May came and when I called to ask about the dresses, it was "they will be in next week". Well, that was the response I got for a MONTH straight. They also refused to answer the phone, and return voice mails and emails. The dresses arrived less than two weeks prior to the wedding and we had to scramble to get them altered bc they did a poor job measuring and they were all two sizes too big. The employees were rude and inconsiderate, acting like it was above them to deal with the the issue. I will NEVER go there again.

My experience here was nothing but success! As a last minute bride, I was flustered and defeated from other places,such as David's Bridal, and was releived the moment I walked in the door. Gowns are available to buy off the rack as well as order. It was also explained to me that custom orders can be done as well. Not only are there bridal gowns, there are bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and flower girl dresses. All at top quality and affordable price!!

I am very disappointed. I purchased a sample gown. From the photos that were sent to me, the dress looked clean and I specifically requested a size 14. Upon finally receiving the dress (ups lost), the dress is very dirty, size 18 and the zipper is ripped. I called and asked to return the dress and i do want a refund but they stated they dnt do refunds (which this is the first Ive heard and its not listed on invoice) and they did offer to send me another gown but going thru the photos-it isnt as pretty as the one in my possession. They offered to resize at $125.00; locally its ranging from 200-300 (my wedding is June 8th and its May 29th). I specifically requested a size 14. Luckily i have someone that has another gown I can borrow but I am out of $185 which is unfair for something I cant afford to fix and isnt up to par...will i ever recommend-Hell No!!!

I chose to write this review after reading some negative reviews that are posted. My experience with Carrie was in 2011. Let me start by saying I waited until the absolute last moment to purchase my wedding dress (5 weeks before the date). My first stop was Carrie Ann's because of the dresses in the window that I saw everytime I drove past. When my friend and I walked in without an appointment, we were greeted by Carrie Ann herself. When I told her my situation and she laughed and said lets take a look around and see what you maight be interested in. I found a dress that I absolutely love and it was a perfect fit. It was stunning and non-traditional. It was perfect and exactly what I wanted. Being a second guesser, I told her that I wanted to look at a few more places that day and that I would be in touch. She wished me the best of luck and told me that she would be there all day. My friend and I looked at a few more shops and none of the other dresses measured up to the one I saw at Carrie Ann's on a side note I could not try any on without an appointment nor would anyone at the other locations even assist me in looking at dresses without an appointment. I called Carrie Ann and told her that my mind was made up and to order the dress. With my wedding date being only five weeks away she explained that ordering a new one was out of the question but if I wanted I could have the one I tried on in the store and of course I said yes once again the dress was stunning. Carrie also contacted her seamstress and asked if she could squeeze me in for a few tucks here and there and because of their wonderful business relationship, Bettina fit me in in two days and the alterations were complete and perfect within three more days. Then I had a catastrophe. I could not find any shoes that I liked. I called Carrie Ann and we looked at the beautiful shoes that she had in the store. Once again because of the time crunch, she was willing to let me purchase what was in the store. Unfortunately, in what I wanted my size was not there. Carrie gave me her cell phone number and told me of her shoe collection and that if I could not find anything within a few days to call her (we wear the same shoe size). A few days later, shoeless and frustrated, I called Carrie's cell phone on a Sunday and she gave me a time to meet her at her store with several pairs of her shoes to choose from. Carrie went above and beyond for me and my time crunch and I would not have changed anything about my time frame because I got to meet Carrie and her wonderful staff, and I was reminded that someone will absolutely go out of their way to make sure that you get your way. I can not express how wonderful, respectful, helpful and funny Carrie and her staff were to me. I would recommend that everyone go see Carrie. On another note, Carrie's selection of Bridesmaid and Prom dresses are out of this world...unless you like cookie cutter styles, Carrie has the best selection that I have seen. Thank you Carrie and staff you guys are wonderful.
