I must say that this was a great experience for me. I had never shot a gun in my life, but as a woman, I felt that it was important for me to finally take the time to learn for self-defense purposes. By the end of the day, I had passed both tests (written and shooting) in order to have a carry permit! I know that there is much more to learn about gun safety, and I want to continue my relationship with Austin Tennessee Firearms. I highly recommend this school!

I have been to a few schools in my day, and sometimes bad things happen to good people intentionally or otherwise. Here is my situation, you think about it and make your own judgement. I went to an NRA sanctioned course, three days. after day 2 I had to leave due to military obligations. I paid for the entire course. The academy said they would reimburse my missed days (didnt have to). After 2 months, I began contacting the NRA, and the paperwork was never sent in. Finally reached the people running this school. A month later I received reimbursement, and said that the accreditation for the courses I completed would be sent in. That was 6 months ago and no word from them. Be careful.
