Sward School offers a variety of academic and extracurricular options for more than 360 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school maintains a staff of teachers that offers educational classes in music, art, English, physical education, reading, writing, social studies and math. Its staff also includes media specialists, speech and language pathologists, nurses and social workers. Sward School operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising activities and special programs. It operates a student council, as well as computer, drama and dance clubs. Located in Oak Lawn, Ill., Sward School is a part of Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123, which serves over 2,900 students.
