I went to Prodigy on Oak Creek for a haircut and perm. I brought about 10 pictures of the type of hairstyle I wanted. I also discussed that I wanted a wash-and-go style that was approximately shoulder length when dry. I was assured that this could be done. Erica was my stylist. In a nutshell, when she was finished, my hair was much shorter than I wanted, the layers were uneven, and when Erica took me out from under the dryer, she told me my hair was "fried!" She wasn't kidding! My hair had very little curl in it and was standing out at the bottom. At my request, she tried to even out the bottom twice, but it was still crooked. She gave me a paper cup of conditioner wrapped in foil to take home and use when I washed my hair after 48 hours. I told her how unhappy I was and she didn't charge me. I let it air dry and it was stiff to the touch and extremely dry. (My hair had been in excellent condition when I walked into the salon.) When I awoke on both the next 2 mornings, there were broken pieces of hair on my pillow! When I then washed it carefully, hair was coming off in clumps! I then went to another local salon in Oak Creek and 2 stylists looked at the cut and condition of my hair - they couldn't believe I had gone to a licensed beautician!!! I had to get my hair deep conditioned, have much of the broken ends cut off (2" more) and have the layers recut in a new style. The stylists also said it will take about A YEAR for my hair to be back to pre-Prodigy condition. I also had to buy some specialized products to provide extra conditioning for my hair during the next year and will have to go for cuts often to keep trimming the "fried" parts of my hair. With all the "extras" I must now do or buy, it is going to be a very expensive hair experience!

I live close to this place and I've been there a few times. Jeromey was a friendly guy who did a wonderful job. Sadly he left. I went back for my kids hair cuts and they did an okay job, nothing wow, just a NICE clean cut. The stylist was friendly. I did notice however that when I went to the same stylist for my cut, she was a little rude, and not as friendly really negative vibes. It shouldnt be that way. I Trust you enough to let you create MY look, with MY money, the least you can do is show me some understanding and appreciation with a simple smile. And don't ask me what length I want my bangs and where they should hit!! YOU are the stylist, as in YOU should know where bangs should be and recomend what suits my face. Afterall...being a stylist doesnt just mean you can properly hold a pair of scissors. Overall, this place is okay for an okay n fast cut. Don't expect to walk out feeling like a celebrity.

I am extremely with Glory as my stylist and colorist and have gone to her for years. My haircuts and color always are excellent. I receive numerous compliments - always - after Glory gives me a haircut and color. Glory's work is professional, thorough and I can count on her to give me outstanding service. My hair is thick and stubborn and it always the result from Glory is always superb. I highly recommend Glory and Progidy Salon.

Prodigy Salon in Oak Creek is a wonderful place to get haircuts. Our stylist has been Glory, and she has ALWAYS done her job well! We appreciate the time she takes to listen to how we would like our hair cut or styled. It always turns out the way we want and we leave with a smile on our face!



We have seen her go above and beyond in treating her customers well and giving them outstanding service.



She will come in before her start time, if it makes it easier for the customer to get their hair done and she has also stayed late. You could not ask for better customer service.



We will continue to have Glory as our stylist, because you could not ask for a better one. You will always leave with a great style and a smile!

Glory has been cutting my hair for years, both here and at previous shops. I'd follow her wherever she went! A perfect cut every time. All the stylists here are friendly and fun to be around. It's like going to a party, and I come out looking great. Every 2-3 weeks for years and for years to come!

Prodigy Salon in Oak Creek is a great place for hair cuts. I have been going to Glory for years and have her cut my hair cut the same way every time. At times she is hard to book with because she has so many repeat customers, but Glory is worth the wait. My son has been with Glory from grade school thru college and he refuses to go to anyone else. She always has a delightful sense of humor and a great fun loving personality. Prodigy, Thank you for the great staff and warm friendly atmosphere.

I ran 5 min late and called- was told no problem. When I get there, the person is still cutting some kids hair. Then when she's told I'm there, loudly says "wasn't that suppose to be such and such time", the other lady THEN tells her I called. "Glory" proceeded to putz around and finally took me to her chair. when explaining what i was trying to do - she's rolling her eyes and making faces then tells me LOUDLY THREE TIMES how many different colors my hair was - loud enough for the entire place to hear her; that's only important because during my short stay, she tells me an irrelevant story about a kid asking her what is her favorite jelly bean and ahe replies "the black ones" so "the kids said so you like black things and his mom and me just looked at each other and started laughing - and then whispers how "there's a girl who works here who only dates black guys; then I got to listen to a 5 minute rant about how "women in the Midwest can't let go of certain hairstyles"; and again rolling her eyes talking down about customers who want "old" "outdated" styles that she's done "hundreds of times". Must think pretty highly of yourself since those are the same CUSTOMERS that PAY you for a service. You cut and dye hair in oak creek, wi. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET PAID TO DO. How is it you think you're so "above" people YOU serve????

I've been everywhere this is the only place to get your haircut everyone is friendly and the service is excellent

The stylists are very friendly. I've been going there for years. I think they make my hair look great. Most women do NOT know what they want. You have to take a picture and know what you want when you sit down with the stylist.

I will never ever ever get my hair done at this place again! It's the worst ever! Way overpriced!!!!! I got my hair colored with lowlights and highlights. I wanted a darker color, there's just brown streaks throughout my hair in all different spots. Very uneven. My blonde has the color of the brown at the roots. Looks horrible! I will be contacting my credit card company for this! Horrible customer service ! Soooooo snotty and very unprofessional!!! Would never recommend getting your hair colored here. They don't even blow dry your hair before you leave! Never again!

Horrible! I went in today for a blow-dry. I made it clear I wanted some volume and I wanted it to be curled in. I walked out with a FRIZZ BALL!!! She pretty much washed my hair and dried it without any effort. I would only recommend this salon for MEN who are going for simple haircuts. Ladies DO NOT GO!

This is the place to get a great hair cut by great people. I have no clue what the crabby lady in the post before is talking about I have been coming to this place for almost 4 yrs now and I have always had great service for me and for my soon to be 7yr old daughter. Maybe someone was just having a bad day and wanted to slam others to make them feel better. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Prodigy for always taking care of us.

I came to this salon when it was a fantastic sams and had good experiances. Just recently I had set up an appointment for myself and daughter to get a haircut. When we arived we had two seperate stylists. The woman who I believe was Elaine took care of me and did a good job and had knowledge of what she was doing. The lady who did my daughters hair went to my daughter talked with her on what she should do with her hair without talking to me first. Mind you my daughter is only 7!! She began to take my daughter to the chair and I said I wanted to see what she wanted done. I saw the woman roll her eyes and look disgusted with me. She than cut my daughters hair, it looked nothing like the pictuere and was extremely choppy and uneven!! The worst part is that they charged me adult price for my 7 yr old!! If I wanted this kind of service I would have gone to Cost Cutters, never again will I return!!
