Provided by YP.comSierra sent tech Kevin to find problem. He did not thoroughly investigate problem & said unit was low on freon (which it was), but "refused" to check out other problems with unit. He wasn't gone 1 1/2 hours before unit again started leaking all over the floor. They said they were booked & couldn't send anyone out for a week. Then he found the water pan was completely rusted out. It has been a month and we are still waiting for the pan to fix the air. This company has not called us back to update us, we've called and called and finally they said, Oh, the pan isn't here, we should call and find out where it is. If they were the ones without air in the middle of a heatwave, I'm sure this would've been fixed sooner. DO NOT RECOMMEND in any circumstance.

Provided by YPmobileBeware of this business. We used them through a warranty company. They will immediately come out to collect their initial check for the warranty fee. Then they will lie about the diagnosis to fit their own needs. They will not call your diagnosis into the warranty company but say that they have and are waiting on the warranty company. Don't play their games call your warranty company. The warranty company will either approve it immediately or disapprove it. Sierra lied to me for three weeks before I finally called. I guess this is my fault. It's a tough lesson to learn. I'd like to save others the trouble and headache. Don't use this company ever. Ask for a different reference if you're working through a warranty situation. I would've rather paid a very high price to an upstanding company then go through the trouble of using these dishonest people for a cheaper warranty fee.

Provided by YP.comDON'T TRUST THEM!! A technician came to my house to diagnose/fix my air conditioner problem. LIED! He said my condenser unit was leaking in 3 places and since it looked like someone purposely did the damage, my warranty would not cover it. Then he said I needed a whole new system and would I like to give him a check for the deposit. NOPE! I did some research about condenser coils and fin damage and called my warranty company for a 2nd opinion. A tech from another company came out and there was absolutely no leak in my condenser unit. The leak was inside the house in my a-coil. Sierra Mechanical could not have been more wrong. The repair will be covered under my warranty.
I'm a single mom and to think they tried to take advantage of me and possibly my lack of AC knowledge and ask for a check makes me incredibly upset and angry. Don't trust them!!

Provided by YP.comI called my home warranty company at 10 am regarding air conditioning problems. Sierra called me at 11am and had a service man out to my house the same day. Ryan was very pleasant. He explained the problem, wiped up all the leaking water from my floor and fixed the problem. I was skeptical b/c of all the negative reviews I saw on another site, but my experience was very positive. I definitely recommend Sierra and would gladly use them again.
