Front desk personnel were reluctant to show me the kennel where my dog would be kept. Finally agreed to show me a similar kennel - I was taking to a building where the dogs were kept in pitch darkness with no access to the outside to poop. I was told they were kept in the dark so they wouldn't bark. Barking would give them diahrrea. It's a kennel - dogs bark. St Charles Animal

If you are looking for the quality kennel in the St. Louis Metro area, look no farther. The employees here are wonderful, the kennels are clean and well maintained. This is a kennel run by a professional, not by a large corporation interested in only making the big bucks. The prices are very reasonable, you are allowed to bring your dog's food from home and there is no additional charge for this. The staff will also make sure your pet gets any supplements or medication that is required during your pet's visit. They also offer grooming and training. I would not hesitate to board my pets at this kennel.

The cleanest kennel I have ever visited. My dogs love going there and act like they are going to summer camp, not a boarding kennel. I am not even sure they miss me while they are there. Westinn employs a very professional staff who are attentive to your dog's needs. Westinn also offers training, either in private classes or group classes. The instructors are fabulous, especially Sharon West, the owner of the kennel.
