Horrible Customer Service and workmanship.

I had a sprinkler systems installed on or around the first week of July 10th 2010. The weather conditions at the time of installation were rainy and the ground was saturated. The major complaint is the depth of the water lines for the sprinkler system. All of the PVC pipe and poly pipe were installed to a depth of just under the sod to about 1 inches. According to all the information I found, the pipe should be installed to a depth of 8-10 inches. I have been dealing with these swallow pipes from day one. I have been complaining to Bob about the installation of the lines and he takes his time returning my phone calls and never answers his phone when you call. It takes up to 2-3 days for him to return a phone call. The reason I am filing this complaint is because I was power seeding my lawn on Wednesday, April 13. I was using the machine in my backyard and hit the main water line that feeds the valve box in the back yard. This caused water to shoot 10 feet in the air. I had to shut off the water to the sprinkler system. I was planning on watering my grass that night but since I hit this line that was not going to happen. I called Bob and he didn't answer his phone. I had to keep calling his phone and he finally answered after I kept calling. I told him that I wanted him to come out that night and fix the problem. Mind you, this isn't the first time I have called him complaining about this issue. When I called Bob he stated that the only thing he could do is send someone out the following day. I told him that I wanted the line buried to the proper depth. He told me that it wasn't possible because there is too much rock in the ground. I stated that it is possible with a pickaxe, and he told me that he wasn't going to pickaxe my yard. The following day (Apr 14) his brother came out to repair the broken line but didn't bury the line to the proper depth. He told me to call Bob and discuss this with him. I have been calling Bob everyday since April 14th. He has not returned any of my phones calls. I am trying to resolve this issue with him but he doesn't want to return my calls. If this issue cannot be resolved if and when he returns my call then I will be forced to take him to small claims court. I am also going to get bids from competing companies to find out the cost of getting the lines installed correctly.
