Dimensions in Travel has been creating beautiful memories since 1978. Every year we plan hundreds of vacations, family reunions, cultural tours, honeymoons, business meetings and athletic events. These days, our clients seem to feel travel is a much-needed necessity, not a luxury, and are contacting us to plan vacations filled with value and special experiences for 2011 and beyond.Dimensions in Travel Specialty NichesWe specialize in family celebration vacations, Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, ocean and river cruises, active travel, European rail travel and custom itineraries anywhere in the world. Our group department organizes group tours for women, Pedro cruises, bridge cruises, garden clubs and guide dog users. Our travel consultants specialize in unique areas such as travel for blind people, school groups, Africa, Turkey, Morocco, Fiji, Australia, Ireland, Scotland, Ecuador and Costa Rica.Three Marin friends started Dimensions in Travel/Cruise Station in 1978, each with different strengths. Norma King knew leisure travel, Roxanne Brown was strong with corporate travel and Margaret Zedek loved cruises. Marketing was simpler back then. The ladies brought bundt cakes with business cards to nearby offices, typed up flyers and their children went door-to-door with Dimensions in Travel car trash bags. The business grew steadily each year. In 1996, Dimensions in Travel moved to its current location, under beautiful heritage oaks at 300 Ignacio Boulevard in Novato, next to Boca Steak restaurant. In 2007, Norma King sold Dimensions in Travel to her two long-time managers, Jill Romano and Diana Saint James. Norma is now a business development consultant with the agency and escorts special groups for the agency. Dimensions in Travel is a proud member of the Ensemble Travel Group consortium. We are delighted to be celebrating our 33rd Anniversary in 2011.We have a staff of seven travel consultants, support staff members and 18 independent contractors. All are knowledgeable, friendly, service-oriented people with an amazing 691 years of travel industry experience!We provide travel services for,, Hospice by the Bay, Redwood Financial and Transglobal Resources. Since 1995, we have been a preferred travel agency for Backroads, a worldwide active vacation company based in nearby Berkeley, California.
