At our Norton, VA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I go here for my daughter several times a week. Her total was $5.59. I have the cashier $.59 & my debit card which she kept for 5/7 minutes. Then she hands it back & says it has $.59 on the card. I paid the cash & she took out the $5 plus the .59 I already gave her. My card had $ on it. Idk if the machine was messed up but I know when I was employed & it messed up you couldn't pay anything with your card much less tell how much was on it. Couldn't get an answer when I called & gonna check but I'm thinkin I've been charged twice. Tried to call the establishment, even though I normally wouldn't, cause we go there so often & cannot get an answer. So my daughter was late for college & I was overcharged! Enough to make me not wanna fool with going back!!

Food was a perfect 100% and the staff. I enjoyed my meal today. Also the cleanest restaurant I've eaten at in a long time. Thanks 100%.
