Don't go!!!! One Star is too much for them!!



Service has always been hit or miss with this place, but tonight's was the worst that it's ever been.

Server was slow, couldn't be bothered to serve you your dish from beside you, passing it across the table to you to put down was good enough for the salad. When I ordered a refill on water it took quite some time and then they served it to the wrong person at our table. When the entree came out it was handled to us, without the server picking up our salad plates first. Never really came back and checked on us.



Now to get into the food review -YUCK!!! A Prime Rib special which came with choice of salad or soup and one side. Side choices were veg of the day (carrots), mash potatoes, french fried potatos, baked potatoe, cole slaw, pasta or applesauce. Has this place not figured out that more people are wanting less carbs in their diet? I order the Prime Rib Med. Rare. When it is handed to me it was really cooked to Med if not Med Well and was not even warm. I told the server that it was cold and sent it back. A few minutes later it was brought back out to me steaming and cooked to WELL DONE (in the microwave I'm guessing). I'm not into making scenes so I put up and shut up as I was with my elderly father and didn't want to upset him. It was so tough and nasty tasting that I could only eat just a little bit of it before my stomach revolted. Totally lost my appetite with both the food and the lousy service.



This place maybe one of the few restaurants in Northumberland so it's a shame that they just don't care. If I had my choice I'd never eat at Front Street again. Certainly not worth the money we paid them tonight.
