Porter Pet Hospital is by far the best vet. The staff is awesome and their service to my 5 year old pit bull is amazing! Thank you so much for being there for my pup.

Great place for dogs. Staff members are great. Doctors know what they are doing. I have been bringing my pitbull to this place for 3 years now and I love the customer service and medical treatments available for my dog.

Love this vet hospital! The whole staff is great, very professional and courteous. They really care about your pet's welfare. We have 3 cats and take all of them here (started 6 months ago) after experiencing poor service at other vet locations. We will only be coming to Porter Pet and have recommended them to family and friends. LOVE THEM!

Porter Pet Hospital and its staff are top-of-the-line when it comes to pet care and empathy towards owners. My family have taken my dogs Precious and Xerox there for everything they've needed. Most recently our dog Xerox was scratching herself raw (which has happened every year, but we were always buying flea/tick shampoo ad sprays to make her more comfortable). Finally, this past year was the worst with her scratching so much hair off that her skin was showing. We went to Porter Pet Hospital and were told she had skin sensitivity, fleas/ticks more harsh during certain months, and to eliminate giving her table scraps altogether. Along with the professional advice we were given a 4-month treatment for fleas/ticks. Almost immediately changing her diet along with the treatment her scratching ceased and now months later her coat is shinier than ever, glossy, and so soft to the touch. It's due to the diligence of the vet and staff at Porter Pet Hospital that my dog is no longer in pain or uncomfortably spending most of her days scratching. She now frolicks happily in the sun looking shinier every day. Thanks for all your help, Porter Pet Hospital! I really appreciate it your sensitivity, care, and diligence in correctly assessing the problem and treating it so she no longer suffers. I will never go anywhere else for my pet needs! I love porter pets. They are amazing, friendly and very helpful. I have been going here for 3 years and always leave here knowing my dog has been given the best service.

These guys do a great job with my dog. Most take importantly, they take time to go over the details in long term health with reminder shots, grooming, etc.

I have sent my neighbors to them and recommend.

If I could describe Porter Pet Hospital in one word it would be "Fantastic"!! Recently my kids and I took our dog Xerox in to be evaluated as she kept scratching and wouldn't stop even with flea shampoos and sprays. She was miserable and spent at least half of her day just scratching. The staff there is friendly, helpful, empathetic, kind, very knowledgeable, and especially caring! From the moment we walked through the door us and our dog was a priority. We had taken our other dog there as well as our cat and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend them!! They are always honest with us about the treatments and the costs associated with them. The veterinarian there in less than a few seconds diagnosed Xerox as having a chronic skin condition and that was why she was scratching so much combined with a seasonal flea problem. He prescribed both an antibiotic and a steroid and for a minimal expense on the medication the vet has given Xerox her life back. She does not scratch at all and she runs around so much more happily and takes the time out now to lie down and enjoy our company rather than running off scratching herself raw in the doghouse or bushes. We see so much more of her and as crazy as it sounds her behavior shows us that she is a much happier and contented dog. And we owe it to the expertise and knowledgeable vet and staff at Porter Pet Hospital where they have always treated our dogs and cat as one of their very own pets. Again, from the bottom of my family's heart thank you Porter Pet Hospital for all you have done and continue to do for our pets! If it were not for your precise and quick diagnosis with the best course of treatment our little Xerox would still be miserable. You guys are the best and we will never take our pets anywhere else, but to you! Again, thank you for everything! We really appreciate it!

Best Animal Hospital in SF Valley. Has been my go to since Day 1 with Lucky, and these are my guys- esp, Annie, LJ, and Francisco. All staff great and caring, clean place, doctor is smart. simple. give them your business.

My brother's cat Curious was near death, but thanks to Porter Pet Hospital's caring and knowledgeable staff he is alive today! I highly recommend that should your pet be sick take them here. Your pet will be in the best of hands!

My mini schnauzer ate something she wasn't supposed to eat but thankfully we got a same day appointment and the people at Porter Pet took care of her, now she's back to being her old playful loving self! I can't thank Porter Pet enough. I definitely recommend bringing your furry loved ones here!

My son's cat, Curious, was near death a month ago and we actually thought we would have to come to the hard decision of saying goodbye and putting him down. Fortunately we took him to Porter Pet Hospital and the staff there was AMAZING! Not only did they truly care about our feelings for our cat, but they thoroughly explained what needed to be done and why certain tests needed to be run, which helped us in our decision as to what would be the best course of action to take to cure or at least alleviate the pain the cat was going through. A heartfelt thanks goes out to the entire staff there at Porter Pet Hospital in getting my son's cat back to eating and drinking on its own and as "Curious" as ever! Francisco especially went out of his way in answering any questions and concerns we had throughout the whole process of Curious' recovery. I was in tears many times throughout this ordeal, but Francisco listened, advised, sympathized, empathized, and would never let us leave without all of our worries and concerns being addressed. Curious, by having gone to Porter Pet Hospital, was given another chance at life. Thank you to everyone there for caring so much! I am convinced that Curious is still with my family today due to the professionalism, expertise, and knowledge of veterinary medicine of the staff at Porter Pet Hospital. I strongly advise and recommend should you have a sick pet that they be your first and only choice for its care.

I took my cat, Curious, here in when he was feeling lethargic and slow. They work absolute wonders! They've been completely realistic with us, going through every possibility, every outcome, and every possible solution in order to allow us to make educated decisions that is best for my family's animal friend. The veterinarian was incredibly knowledgeable and told us the realistic options, something very appreciated in this case. Not only that, the technician Francisco was great. We've had to come back repeatedly for treatment for what we learned was kidney issues and each time Francisco has explained everything on a level my family can understand while also being conscious that not everyone can dump in a few thousand dollars. He, and the rest of the staff, are all simply wonderful people who have made this incredibly difficult time more bearable and certainly a lot more hope-filled. 5 stars; honestly wouldn't recommend another place to go in your time of trouble, or even if it's just that time to get your pet's claws groomed.

The staff is great and always willing to suggest different options so that my dog stays healthy. They helped my dog so much with her environment allergies.

They have taken great care of my dog Lucky for the past four years. I found their animal technician, Francisco, to be extremely knowledgeable. They always remember my dog's name without prompting and worked with me regarding payments. Would highly recommend them.

Our pet was a client of this hospital for more than a year and we had a bad experience about 3 months ago.



Our dog was given the anti-rabies injection although they knew from the dog's record that it is not expired yet. The very sad part of it was the drug they gave was already EXPIRED.



Since then we didn't come back to the hospital anymore.
