The salespeople are extremely rude and look at you like a floating dollar sign. If they feel you're 'not worth it', they rush through and just try to get out the door. Don't try to ask them to measure your rooms, either...unless you want to hear grumbling.



Better carpeting for half the price is available through competitors...just shop around.

We had a bedroom and hall installed about a year and a half ago. The installation was completed in three days due to not emough material being brought for the job. Within 6 months there was a wear pattern, moreso than the carpet that had been there 10 years. This was not cheap carpet, appx $1700 for a bedroom and hall. The complaint investigators came out and said the wear was normal. Sorry. I would not use Empire again. Their warranty sounds good but I doubt seriously if there is ever a corrective action taken.
