Boardwalk Pizza is the closest to New York/New Jersey/Connecticut style pizza in the Denver Metro area. It owned and operated by a family that came here from "Joy-zee". The quality of pizza, calzones, meatball or sausage sandwiches are top notch and consistently the best we've had since moving out here from Connecticut. The first time I walked in there, I took one sniff and said "It smells right" and it is perfect pizza that satisfies this former CT girl's craving for her favorite food from the tri-state area. Give Boardwalk a try, you'll never order from anyone else ever again. The prices are terrific especially when you consider the quality of the products being served. Coupons are also offered in a local mailer sent to homes around Northglenn/Thornton. It is in the Hillcrest Shopping Center, just west of Red Lobster on 104th and it is well worth the drive from anywhere in the state! Hands down, the best pizza this Denver native has had in the metro area. Boardwalk is not a fancy Italian restaurant, just a perfect little pizza joint in Northglenn. Before you pick up the phone to order "chain" pizza, call Boardwalk and try a slice, you'll be happy you did.
