My deck was built without a blueprint.There were several issues..the foreman didn't use the blueprint that the owner (Jay) created. The deck posts had to be torn out multiple times due to lack of symmetry. Jay tried to use "band-aid" fixes but ultimately half of the deck posts had to be redone. We had to do a lot of "pushing" to get the job done right. Jay admitted that he didn't handle this job properly. They didn't show up when they said they were going to, they built the deck wrong and the gates are uneven. Ultimately the project was 'as good as it was going to get' so we paid the company. Fast forward 3 yrs (deck was built 3 years ago), the $500 gates are sagging even more & the railings are warping. We had a tree come down on our property and we need repair work done. Jay quoted us in Feb and said they could do the work the following week. It is now July and they still have not done the work and they will not return our phone calls. This is an extremely unprofessional company.
