This is so worth it!!

I am new to the area from Tennessee, where we have a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant on every corner. I desperately miss good Mexican food, so we decided to try La Bamba. We were seated immediately, greeted promptly by our waiter, and the bus boy, with what I'd consider a professional greeting, "Welcome to La Bamba." I ordered the carne asada, with an enchilada. It came with yellow rice and beans with cheese. The food was phenomenal. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the yellow rice was very flavorful. Even the beans were delicious. I was pleased with the service and the attentiveness of all of the staff, they all seem to work well as a team. All and all, five stars!! I will be back!!

Good and bad - please read

First the good...

Have been a loyal customer since they opened and frequently eat here (every two weeks or so)

Food is really quite good and the menu has a pretty diverse selection. They will cater to your requests and make the dishes how you like them - try the snapper fajitas!

Now the bad...

last time there when I used the men's room, I saw the manager clean the counter with a paper towel and no cleanser. He then went ahead and used the toilet and then walked out without washing his hands.

!!!!RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!

We haven't been back.
