Forget Lotus of Siam and Renu Nakorn, Sri Siam is the place to go for Isan (NE Thai). It's unassuming location in a tiny nondescript strip mall camouflages the amazing dishes inside, dishes that are on par with the excellent street food of Thailand and Laos. Don't bother with boring dishes like pad thai, go straight for the crispy rice salad (a.k.a. nam kao tod) or Thai beef jerky. You will not be disappointed.
