My refrigerator is an 18 year old Kenmore. The compressor went out and I am so very surprised that Sears still has parts for this very old refrigerator. I guess Kenmores are die hard appliances!
I was not happy with my first appointment - waited all day!! My appointment was scheduled between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The technician finally showed up at 6:30 PM. He was a nice technician but the wait for a customer is totally unacceptable. I had to call 3 times to find out the status!!
The second appointment was to install the compressor. Now this technician was super efficient. Not only was he on time but he was very efficient. What would have taken 4 hours with 2 technicians on the job only took one person a little over an hour!!! Now I give Richard the technician a 5 star for his punctuality, efficiency and courtesy. We need more technicians like him.

Demeatre was the nicest service teck we have ever had. He had a lot of personallity knew what he was doing, and very fast at his work. You should hold n to him he is a real plus to your company.

Sears repaired my stove burner in 10 minutes . The burners were block were gas goes down to ignite the pilot ignition. The service man cleaned it and was very thruough and went on his way. There was no mess left behind.

The refrigerator needed a repair and they couldn't send anyone for FIVE DAYS!!! They issued $100 to pay for damaged food, but the food in the freezer and fridge was worth way more than that, not to mention the hassle of having purchase all new everything.

It may have taken a few days longer than I would have preferred to get a service date but the technician could not have been more helpful. He had to find another tech in the area with a part but came back immediately and the dryer was fixed right away ... and for a fair price.

Repairman would not listen to my wife's complaints. The previous serviceman ordered two parts for the refrigerator. He only put in one and complained we open the freezer door too much making the ice cubes chunk up. There are only two of us here and we both are senior citizens. How many times do we open the freezer door. the ice maker works now but coming out fast and clogging up the opening. He took the other part that he did not use with him.

Getting a repair scheduled with Sears Home Services IS A NIGHTMARE. After the first scheduled visit which somehow resulted in the serviceman leaving, it took a week to reschedule! When the serviceman came the second time he was friendly and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. It was (almost) worth the wait!

It was so easy to schedule a repair - and not only did the repairman show up exactly when he was supposed to, but he called me and explained the problem and told he how he was going to fix it. In no time, I had a working dryer again - it truly was a worry free experience and I would recommend with the highest rating.

I'm not satisfied with the Service Technician. Only the drum belt was replaced. I think the rollers should be replaced. He did not clean or vacuum the inside unit. He even tried to charge me with maintenance or something. I told him that Sears charged me $193.00 for everything. After I have signed the receipt he just left and did not push the dryer to its usual place. I suggest that another technician should check the unit again and clean the dryer.

I want to thank our service tech, Tony for his excellent, friendly and professional service repairing our Sears Kenmore washing machine. The part was installed during his service call and we were amazed how fast this repair was completed. Our washer was purchased in 2001 and we could not believe it only needed a part that was covered by our service warranty contract. Our machine is now running like a brand new washer. Sincere thanks from a very satisfied senior citizen customer.

The first tech that came out did not fix our range but is was a third party company. call sears back they sent a sears tech out the man found the problem in less then five minutes. and fixed the range in 45 minutes I found out ask for sears techs the first time. ps your yp sight will not let me jouie

Excellent service.

Make sure you buy a warranty ins because I happened to have bought a $2,300 Kenmore Elite refrigerator that broke down 6 times in one year and it was a tru nightmare. Sears is not what it used to be and appliances aren't either. So beware.

I have had the service for years and never had a problem. It is really the only game in town.

SEARS! I'm very dissappointed in Sears service. The tech. came out put a rubber gasket seal on the refrigerator, he put it on crooked and the door doesn't suck closed. This has been going on for about a month now. And our doors are un aligned. Not happy with there service.
