We used the services of Hughes Painting LLC for an exterior painting job in September. They did preparatory work, caulking, filling all the cracks, painted the trim, painted the siding, and brushed the whole house. We had a great experience. We liked them very much. They were very polite. There is a young gentleman who works for him and have nothing bad to say about him. They were great David Mark McGonagle 11/29/11

They prepared for and painted our house exterior and gazebo. They had our exterior cleaned a week before they painted. When they came they began by repairing some rot- and insect-damaged wood. They removed screens and an awning so they would not get paint on them. They sanded and primed some areas where the old paint had been peeling. Then they did an outstanding job of painting our house and gazebo. The gazebo, in particular, was rather challenging, but they did not complain. Jeff Harrison 8/11/11

I have an old house with plaster walls. in a large area there was 3-4 layers of wallpaper. Mr. Hughes and his excellent workman removed all wallpaper, patched old cracks, meticulously prepped the walls and painted to perfection. When compared to other painting I have had done the finished walls are incredible. They were on time, cooperative and cleaned up to perfection. They were very concerned with our comfort and pets and a delight to deal with. Mr. Hughes was great about organizing and instructing his crew, he also did extensive follow up to insure a quality result. The prep work and perfectionism from this group are worth more than the average painter. Every surface and even edging at ceilings look like new walls. I cannot recommend this company more highly. This is the second time I have used this company and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting quality work. The owner and his employees are conscientious and professional. The estimate process was outstanding. Mr. Hughes explained everything carefully and made helpful suggestions. He had the low bid also. They came when they said they would come. They were polite and helpful. They worked efficiently, but paid attention to little details. The job only took two days, which really amazed us.
