I love them. They have did 3 of my braids and I loved them all. I kept them in 3-4 months.

I think the issues people have with this place are normal & valid. First off they sometimes ask for money prior to finishing your hair. I don't know any other salon that does this, but can only imagine that they've had a bad experience or two with people not paying. The stylists speak french to each other & don't interact much with customers. Therefore, there is really no bond with the stylist. It makes for an uncomfortable/awkward 4-7 hours! The last time I went they curled my twists like a 10 year old would wear. I was mortified. I'm a TSgt in the AF on my way to a deployment. I wanted a simple, manageable, (& honestly butch) hairstyle. If I was trying to look cute I would have gone for micros. But the ladies did in fact fix it--straightened the twists the next day. Lastly the hair they use is cheap & really dries your hair out. If they treated the hair first it wouldn't be so bad...but they use it straight out of the pack.



So why four stars? I've had other stylists cancel on me...one cancelled because it was raining! So if I needed my hair done in a pinch, this salon was able to meet my needs. They provide hair. (You have to be sure to moisturize your hair because its horrible cheap & drying synthetic weave) They tend to be reasonably fast. I've never had less than 2 ladies work on my head at once. I believe the price is reasonable for the time savings & skill they provide. Dependability counts for a lot in my book. The salon really deserves 3.5 stars. Your braids, twists won't have any real "flair". These ladies aren't stylists. This shop is more of a "braiding assembly line". I won't go here anymore (knock on wood), unless of course I find myself in a pinch with no other options.

If you go

-Moisturize your hair before going (deep condition the day before, use a good overnight leave-in conditioner the night before)

-Take your own hair if possible

-If not using your own hair use a braid spray & infusiom 23 leave-in conditioner liberally for the life of your braids

- Go back & get your perimeter redone monthly or every 6-weeks

-Don't worry about paying up-front. They will fix whatever you are unhappy with.
