Christine Strange, AuD, CCC-A is an instructor and the Clinical Director of the Vestibular Program in the Division of Audiology. She is a summa cum laude graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh, NY (1988), received her graduate degrees at SUNY Plattsburgh (1989) and A.T. Stills University, Mesa Arizona (2011). She completed her fellowship in Audiology at Albany Medical Center, NY (1990). Dr. Strange joined the MUSC faculty in 1990 and has been involved in numerous sub-specialties in Audiology over the years with a primary focus of the diagnosis and management of adults with hearing and balance disorders. She spent five years working in the NIH funded Hearing Research Program contributing to the presbyacusis program project studying age related hearing loss. Her current clinical efforts and expertise are in vestibular diagnostic evaluation. She is also a member of the MUSC cochlear implant team and has completed specialized training for cochlear implant programming from the Institute of Cochlear Implant Training program. She is involved in student education as a clinician educator. She maintains professional memberships in the American Speech and Hearing Association, American Balance Society, South Carolina Academy of Audiology and American Auditory Society.
