Provided by YPmobileThe service was prompt and professional for my to go order, but my smoked salmon ceviche was far from what I was used to. Instead of being tangy and robust full of spices it was more like a container of oily soup with very few vegetables (mainly red onions, and a decent amount of slivered salmon. The seasoned chips and freshly prepared spicy salsa were very tasty though. Next time I will stick to the more Mexican (non-chilled prepared) menu items.

Provided by YPmobileZapatas Tacos & Tequila Bar: Fiancée & I are having a great night enjoying the mojitos & the molcajetes (you'll have to stop in to find out what this dish is all about). Authentic Mexican at it's best!

Provided by YP.comMy wife and I dined at Zapata's on May 7 around 8:00 PM. We were seated immediately and given menus. This was quickly followed by chips and salsa. Unfortunately, this was the end of our evening. After waiting for at least ten minutes with no one making any effort to take our drink order or food order, we left! What was quite disturbing was that the restaurant was not busy!!! We had dined here at least a half-dozen times, and had not been treated like this. We had enjoyed going there, but no more.

Provided by YP.comFrom the menu to the decor, this small, informal restaurant is nothing like the ubiquitous U.S. Tex-Mex joint. From freshly made sopas to crepes, the fare is comprised of authentic favorites from the restaurateurs' home region in Mexico. Though service can be inconsistent from one visit to the next, it is never so negligent as to spoil one's dining experience. Prices are modest. Beverages include spirits. Located in a small strip-style commercial building that also houses a dry cleaners and a coffee shop, Zapata sits down from the apron of Peachtree Parkway (Hwy 141), approximately 1/3 mile north of the intersection with Holcomb Bridge Road. If you live within ten miles of the restaurant, be forewarned that it could become a favorite, meriting regular patronage. If you are visiting the Norcross area, taking the time to dine at Zapata will be worthwhile.
