Love their Pad Thai

I found out about this place through the AJC article. We went there on Sunday after church. I like the ambience. There was a lot of natural light because the place is surrounded by windows. The price was extremely reasonable. The dishes were from 3.95 to 7.95 for BOTH lunch and dinner. The waitress was friendly and she recommended the house Pad Thai noodles which happens to be my favorite dish! So I ordered Shrimp and chicken Pad Thai. Having had Thai food at several restaurants, I have to say this is the BEST Pad Thai I have had in a while. As most of you know, some Pad Thai can be quite soggy and greasy. Well that is not the case here at Kokai. The Pad Thai noodles was just right and the noodles were not overcooked. My sister tried their cheese rolls and chicken friend rice and loved her dishes as well. My mother-in-law ordered the house special noodle soup. I think its called Yeen Tah Four? It was rice noodles soup with mixed seafood in a light tomato paste broth. It was one of the dishes recommended on the AJC and it was simply delicious!!! Overall, I would highly recommend this place. The decor is simple, the food is authentic and the price was well within my budget! I will be telling my friends about this place.
