You have to stop by and get some fresh french bread, and grab some treats too! This place is NOT the $4 a cupcake trendy mall bakery. It's a local bakery that makes getting quality baked goods affordable enough that they can become the norm not the special occasion. Why have overly-processed grocery store bread when you can have fresh bakery bread for about the same price?

PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME TO READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO ORDER A CAKE FROM LE BON BAKESHOP IN NORCO CA...3699 HAMNER AVE. BUYER BEWARE~PLEASE READ THIS BELOW~

I wouldn't even rate this a 1 star but it makes me choose at least a star.

I ordered a cake with the owner of this Le bon Bakeshop for the 3rd of May 2013. We had a picture of a WWE Cake that we really wanted. After me and my husband discussed with her about what we wanted and how much it would cost we were overall happy, price $60.00. She offered to do a little wresting ring on top of the cake and add in some fresh bananas as the filling. The whole cake was suppose to be in fondant. I sent her an email with the picture of the cake so that she wouldn't forget the colors and what the picture looked like. I even pulled out a white paper and drew out the cake explaining each color the cake was going to be and what color the writing was suppose to be in. The owners english is not too great so I gapped the language by writting and drawing everything down so we would be on the same page. We even tried a chocalate cupcake to check if we liked her cake and it was good enough for a bunch of 6 year olds. We gave her a deposit of $30.00. That Friday when we picked up the cake we were so UPSET. She used royal icing on my sons name and the WWE symbol which was suppose to me in fondant. The icing in the back which was the WWE symbol chipped off the cake and she used her finger to chip the rest off. She used royal icing to redo it again. The fondant from the corners of the cake were not attached to each other and was crumbling. The fondant piece she had on the back of the cake was not attached AT ALL and her solution was to use her finger and press it back into the cake. When we would try to lift the cake to take it the fondant would pull away from the cake and all she had to say was push it back in. Quick Solution but didn't work. I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE IT. I would NOT have taken the cake but because I picked it up on the day of my 6 year olds birthday I had NO CHOICE. What else was I suppose to do when his birthday party was in a few hours. To make MATTERS WORSE!!! We sang happy birthday cut the cake and it was sooo DRY!!! All the little kids were complaining that it was dry and to top it off there was no bananas in the filling. I had to throw basically all of the cake away because the kids just wanted the ICED CREAM. My husband called and the owner didn't want to speak to him so my own mother called to try to reason with this owner for any type of refund. She had the NERVE to tell my mother that she never wanted to do a cake for us again as if though we did something wrong. She went on complaing that we were some bad kind of customers that she has never dealt with. We are customers and I AM A MOTHER. My Sons Birthday is very IMPORATNT to Me. And She had her nerve to tell my mother that I was a bad customer when I took the high road and actually took her cake when I should have completely asked for a REFUND right there and then. We will NEVER do business with the lady or business again. She doesn't deserve anyones money and she wears a jacket that says she graduated from Le Cordon Bleu...If thats the kind of work that school is graduating someone needs to close that school and FAST. I would not write this much if I was lying please listen and go somewhere else. Read everyone elses reviews..they are all on the same page as me.

NASTY

Food is stale, old, & are nasty. Couldn't even bite into the CUPCAKE, cookie was like a BRICK. Fridges are not kept at proper temps, you can view the temp from the side. Not sure how they are still in business the man behind the counter seemed like he didnt know or understand anything. Meat inside the savory was completely brown and old. Don't waste your time or money on this nasty place

Do not go there. As a matter of fact I did tell my best friend about it and that is exactly what I said. They have cupcakes/pasterys in a display case in front that looked like they have been purchased someplace else and not even lovingly taken care of. Condensation sits atop the frosting, so my guess is that it is warm in the display case, gross. Next they have a savory side, I have to admit that the savory pastry look made by someone there but still unappetizing. They had meatballs or something sitting in this gooey looking sauce that just looked unpleasant. Alright now for the customer service, they were pleasant, and that is where it ends. The girl might have memorized everything there but incorrectly, her pronunciation of certain breads was incorrect, her descriptions were fair but lacking any enthusiasm. When she showed me the breads in the counter, while describing the breads and saying them incorrectly I had to point out a bag that had mold on the bread, she said "oh, we'll that one has been there a while," okay so what else has been hanging out there so long that it is also inedible. Needless to say I bought nothing for my family to snack on there, wouldn't want them to get ill.
