This review is coming from a former employee. Long story short, after only working a short amount of time I had an
injury after the center was closed. Told director about it & followed directions of where I needed to be seen. Told her I had to be off for 3 days & then go for re-check. I was cleared to go back to work with NO restrictions. Called director back & told her I was cleared to return with NO restrictions. She said via text that she had taken me off the next weeks schedule before knowing my outcome. After several attempts via text explaining how I was ready & able to return I was met with dead silence. I was even willing to do filing just to show a good faith gesture, still dead silence. She was acting very unprofessional towards me for no real good reason. She finally responded by saying I was giving her all these restrictions when there were none. In this last text she lumped in the accident with other things that I was unable to address because basically I was a waste of time & she didn't want to be bothered by me anymore. To any future employee I would think twice about working for this daycare because if you are not perfect you might get kicked to the curb because of an accident!

Terrible Daycare! The teachers are rude! My kid is always hungry! Who feeds celery as a snack anyways? Kids are not taught anything unless they are in the five year old class! One of the teachers who teaches the two year olds even has a lisp. How can you have her teaching kids learning to talk? The owner is rarely there and when she is she will run and hide so she doesn't have to talk. Its a #s game there and all she cares about is her $$

Both of my daughters, age 3 and 4 have been going to Tots Landing for quite a while. It's structured, the girls like to go there, and they learn. Period. My oldest just got pre-screened for kindergarten and she is ready to go. We were concerned, as she'll be one of the youngest in her class, but she scored proficient on every part of the exam. She's only 4! The screeners were VERY impressed with her performance. So were we. We are not going to hold her back. Although we do a lot at home with the girls, I tip my hat to Tots Landing. Thanks!

They only care about #s not your child

If you want your child to do well I would not put them in this daycare. I have been a loyal customer for years and just cause my child is in the younger part of his age, they refuse to move him to prepare properly for school. It seems it more of a #s game for them then the good of the child. My child is going to school next year as well but just cause he is 1 month younger than others he is not good enough to be in the Pre-K program. I would look elsewhere for any kind of Pre-K prep.

As the owner/director of this daycare for 21 years now, I can assure those of you looking for a dependable, loving, and safe daycare for your child, tots landing is it. We would not have been in business this long if we weren't good. As a facility licensed for 96 children, it is impossible to please everyone, however, we DO please most. I find it sad that this individual is this unhappy, yet continues to bring her children? If you are considering us for your daycare needs, I encourage you to come meet me and see our facility for yourself.
